I'm skeptical on Aokiji actually being promoted, with everything being a mess as it is you would think they would choose a guy like Akainu that gets the job done rather than the lazy guy.

Yeah, I was totally expecting Akainu to become the next Fleet-Admiral. He fought whitebeard 1v1 for a bit, killed Ace, crippled whitebeards whole fleet by himself and has an even more absolute sense of justice then Aoikiji. And his mere presence sent the BB crew running!

Akainu is too extreme, imo. He's better as a dog to hunt down monsters and annoyances. Aoikiji is far more balanced and level headed.

Out of the 2, Aoikiji is the "good" guy, which is why Garp recommended him, but both work, just depend what Oda wants to do with One Piece universe.

Really enjoyed it, especially with all the flashbacks, which is funny cause I know I'll hate when it gets animated because of all the flashbacks. But still I enjoyed them since they are in quickly read print form.

good sir, you're underestimating brooke. in the past, his songs have done more than just entertain the ears, they have had effects. for all we know once he completes the song it could be fucking march + attack damage

Brooke needs to become more interesting period. Chopper has shown greater fighting ability than Brooke. Both Franky and Usopp have better theme music than Brooke has managed. He desperately needs to rise above joke level for the coming arcs.

idk, Brooke is pretty awesome in the movie, but him and Robin seem to get less action time, in Robin case maybe because her fruit is too op and Brooke works better as comic relief for the author maybe.
