Brooke's biggest problem is that he's always going to be second best. Within the confines of the story he can't become a better swordsman than Zoro so his battle prowess will have to come in combination with his music. As Vandole said, "this nigga gettin a gjhallerhorn."

I'd also say your downgrading his usefulness in combination attacks, just go back through the Oz fight (NO I WONT CALL HIM OARS, oars are what you use to row boats with...) generally speaking I'd say Brooke in most useful in a group setting. Therefore go go Double March, and we have already seen Horde Lullaby.

With everyone training with basically the best in their fields, does that mean Zoro will train under Mihawk? Shit's gonna be boss, but I really like how everyone acknowledged that they all need to be stronger if they're going to help Luffy achieve this dream of his. I don't see Mihawk training him directly, but I'd see him telling Zoro the general idea of how he trained when he first moved into that island. Zoro doesn't seem the type to ask anyone to train him, and is the only one ever seen training himself, so higher probability of Zoro training himself in a similar environment that Mihawk once did.

@Sanji, you know the last opponent will be Iva as a woman, meaning he will have to get over kicking women (thats sentence sounds horrible -.- lol). Not that he'll "beat" Iva, more likely a challenge along the line, "if you can land one hit". If not Iva then at lease one of the okama will have been changed to a woman with hormones.

Anythings better then last week's 23 mins to have one thing happen that could had been fit into 3 mins of the previous episode.

I'm really not sure where I stand in the drawn-out sequences vs filler argument anymore, cause full fledge filler ep.s are significantly easier to skip especially on subsequent viewings.

You can't rule out anything. He could've went to sea and washed up on the island months ago and preferred to stay or whatever. Sanji isn't an okama but he's there, granted under special circumstances. Doubt he'd show up in the NW unless he was under a new captain. He was strong, but not that strong.

The way I see it, the next chapters will either focus on the crew training with a few chapters dedicated to each of them (I would love this personally) or there will be the time skip with everyone meeting up due to some crazy situation and showing off their new strengths/abilities down the line.
