I know what you mean. Garp walking up that staircase to Ace took forever (Albeit, the snippets of ace as a baby were nice). Watching this weeks episode really makes me crave a new chapter +_+

Especially with the manga taking a break for timeskip, you would think the anime would go ahead and power though the end of before the timeskip, and take some time off before launching a new rebranded series etc. I'm mildly starting to worry that the anime will instead do a year+ long filler before actually doing a timeskip a-la-naruto.

I'd rather have a year long filler than drawn out canon.

Although Naruto's way of doing massive filler followed by drawn out canon fucking sucked..

Depending on how they show what happened that year during the manga, the anime might try to fill in the gaps like they did before. That might be tolerable to watch, but it all depends on what happens next chapter. D:

God damn it 4 weeks is so long. At least it's almost 3 weeks left?

I haven't watched this weeks episode, but I thought last weeks episode with Oars Jr was well done. Yeah, a bit drawn out, but I still thought it was good.

Once shit really starts going down though, they can maybe show us more fights that we didn't really see in the manga. Some more Kuma/Ivankof, and other fights that I can't remember or look up because OneManga is no more.

Starting so late with One Piece (anime) means I'd have to give up on life just to catch up....

So, I just got to the part where they get shot up into the sky after Luffy oneshotted Bellamy. Best parts so far were the Bar "fight" with Luffy/Smoker/Ace and again later on when they go into the same bar in Rainbase. Also had a good laugh with the whack-a-mole bit in the Mr.4 vs Chopper/Usopp (Pound-Pound-Pound-Pound-Wagōmuuuu-Pound-Pound-Pound).

~300 episodes more to go

It's worth it. The ~1.5 weeks I spent couped up in my room watching the entire series from ep 1 to 350 was one of the best escapes from reality I've ever had. lol. Totally enjoyed it more then my last ~$5,000 vacation overseas

I remember when I started watching One Piece, had to fill up the boredom of HNM camping somehow. With work now though, I don't really have the time to rewatch the series, which brings me to tears. The Bellamy scene brings was brilliant.

I like to call One Piece the feel good Anime. Like the latest episode. It's all sad with Oars and what not then the end where Luffy is falling happens and you just know that shit got real and it makes you smile. Or the scene back at Enies Lobby where Luffy declared war on the government and everyone was cool with that.

Fuck, I love this anime. lol I really hope they don't make killing people a common occurrence.

They probably wont, in all honesty. The had to for the war arc, or it wouldn't of had a major effect. I think everyone figured that at the very least WB would of died.

I've noticed from the very beginning that most anime/manga episode/chapter end with a negative twist hook, while most of One Pieces episodes/chapters end with a positive hook instead.
