Right as the volcano is about to erupt, van der Decken orders Ankoro and Wadatsumi to steer the ship and run
Luffy speaks to Nami, and tries to tell Surume to get further away, but Surume is already darting the hell out of there lol

The volcano erupts right after this
Magma is flowing through, and due to the temperature difference the currents are starting to become swirls,
but the Strawhats got away just in nick of time into a trench, and head further into the depth
As the Sunny jumps into the trench, rocks come raining on them

Zoro tells Luffy to hang on tight, he'll cut them, but Robin stops him.
This is a layer where the water pressure would crush them
Usopp uses his Green Star Sargasso to stop them, but some of them hit Surume who wasn't paying attention, and knocked him out

They fall further into the depth...
They finally reach 10,000m under the sea (the bottom of the trench)
They arrive at Fishman Island, surrounded by a massive bubble.
Sanji nosebleeds again lol
Surume was already tamed and used by the Fishmen, and even larger sea monsters surround him
New Fishman Pirate crew (a fighter, not captain) Hammond shows up. A pike eel (hamo in Japanese) fishman.
He tells Luffy we don't knwo if you're a foe or friend, but join us or else sink to the bottom of the sea.
The Strawhats decide to Coup de Burst out of the situation
"Alright, maximum Coup de Burst ready!"
Hammond: Alright, now decide to become our underling!! Strawhat Luffy!!
Luffy: Heeell no!! Morons!

This week end here.
The reason why they don't know if he's enemy or foe is because strickly in case of how they dealt Arlong, they consider him enemy.
But then they also consider him possibly friendly, because he helped Hachi and knocked out a Tenryuubito, just like Fisher Tiger did.

So they are confused what to make of Luffy, I guess

I've actually felt pretty let down by the anime adaptation of the battle so far.

They have really managed to make this battle feel slow and kind of boring for me. They drug out the whole Coby getting wrecked thing too much (I loved that it was only a moment in the manga) also Luffy's Conqueror Haki didn't feel nearly as epic as it should have. I keep waiting for the A squad animated episode that hole in WB's chest looks retarded like he's a hollow or something.

In that case im not watching it in order to preserve the awesome of whitebeard in my heart.

I've actually felt pretty let down by the anime adaptation of the battle so far.

I've enjoyed it so far. I agree the hole looks silly but I liked the sequence with Coby. The way the dust moved around him and stuff. I also thought the marine tornado was done so well, that part was epic.

Someone needs to do a hollow white beard, lol.

So apparently to celebrate the selling of 200 million OP manga Shueisha, the publishing company behind SJ is going to have an OP cover on all their magazines for the month of February. So Luffy is going to be on the cover of japanese playboy.

Actually I think the exact wording was "Luffy the main character of OP will star on the covers" not OP in general will star in the covers.

To celebrate the 200 millionth copy of Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga in print, the manga's main lead Luffy will "hijack" the covers of all the magazines that Shueisha publishes between January 31 and February 28 of next year. That includes all of Shueisha's manga, literature, women's and news magazines. The announcement was made in next year's combined 3rd/4th issue (pictured at right) of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, which went on sale on Monday.

During the campaign, all of these magazines will include original One Piece goods such as postcards as bonus supplements. They will also offer mail-away presents such as reproductions of original manga art and signed shikishi (sketch boards) to their readers.
