Awesome that we saw new moves and that they're all dead. Not awesome because of all the fucking spread pages. Also I wish we saw everyone do an ultimate attack but not enough bosses, I guess.

Really enjoyed the chapter, glad they didn't drag these fights out for another 5-6 chapters. Now they can get moving and get to the new world.

Also, Ragns can die a death of flaming spiders for saying One Piece is overrated.

I wanted more Robin/Nami action than I received, so the latest chapter gets a B+ at best. I kind of expected a lot of one-hit KOs since this is the first time we see the new abilities at work, and I am grateful that Brook and Chopper are now 10000% more useful than they used to be. Still where's the love for the ladies of the strawhat crew?

I'm glad this arc is on its last stretch, the battles were starting to drag a little too much for my taste. I'm particularly happy with that since the best scenes usually happen inbetween island (that's when the main plot progress) and Oda will have a good opportunity to make thing happen soon.

Anyone else starting to notice a trend of nature/elements/science being aligned to each individual Strawhat?

Zoro: Hell/Demons (???)
Sanji: Fire
Brook: Ice
Ussop: Earth/Grass
Nami: Weather
Chopper: Human/Animal Hybrid
Robin: Giant/Human
Franky: Science+Animals

And if you include Jinbe (cause you know, from the looks of it, he'll be crew member #10), he's got Water(+Fishman Karate I guess) down. Not saying the manga is taking a Pokemon route as far as fighting goes, but each member is being more and more specific in the type of moves they use. And of course, there's no 100% on Brook being Ice only. If I'm not mistaken, it's moreso the specific weapon he's using that when he adds his soul to it creates an ice element. So for all we know, he could be multi-elemental later on.

Don't forget Robin has that flower theme going on. Chopper sort of does too with some of his attack names. Also Franky probably falls under steel if it's a Pokemon type of thing going. Nami also gets the weather elements, wind/rain/electricity.

Don't get me wrong, I hope Oda doesn't. Naruto tried to incorporate it and failed quite miserably.

He took what I said and put it in order of when they joined the crew. Useful?... I... I guess? I went by most obvious on top, and more ambiguous/debatable on the bottom >_>

Although in theory, Nami should come either before Ussop or after Sanji, depending on when one considers her having officially joined the crew. Not in between.

Franky being a cyborg (and thusly, steel) was always a part of his character. Being able to get shot, etc. It was a big deal with his fight on Fishman Island.

Also I noticed, that after the crews fight with Aokiji, all the characters found a way to do fire attacks at Eines Lobby. Sanji had his fire kicks, Zoro had some fire sword attack thing (pretty sure he used one), at and Luffy got gear 2nd (which heats his body up). I thought it was interesting.
