Luffy should be immune to the poison gas after going vs. Magellan, can't do shit vs. gas though, which is sorta the reason Smoker is kept as the only Marine able to chase the SH. It would be fun if Smoker or Tashigi-Smoker saved the day this time.

I expect he will be re-hyped this arc by doing something big if not defeating CC; Gas-man vs Smoker-man seems like a planned fight.

Same thing in Alabasta, Ace intervened and shoo'ed him away, and again in the war with Hancock.

He never gets a chance to actually show his skills, other than his ability to tag Luffy with his seastone jutte.

Luffy himself said he is useless vs. Smoker (pre-haki upgrade). What I meant with my post, is that it would be cool if Smoker saved the day this time, instead of the usual SH brawl; that would break the cycle of Smoker looking like useless bad-ass #2

In most of this weeks scenes you can see smoke coming off of Tashigi (in Smokers body). I'm inclined to believe that the body retains the ability. As Haki is a learned skill they should be able to take it with them to their new body. If Tashigi can learn some rudimentary use of the smoke ability then she could use that for some pseudo immunity against Law (in spite of her lack of a strong Haki).

They seem to be the giants that created the foot prints, they have guns on their back
