Would he really "confront" shanks though? Unless in my drug haze I'm forgetting something, outside of Shanks' position there is little reason for that to happen. I also don't see Oda turning Shanks into a monster like 'bad' pirates. Outside of Law and Boa's group we really haven't seen any "good" pirate though.

I'm pretty sure Shanks is out. Most obvious choice is Big-Mom, but that'll be interesting since Luffy & Crew made friends with her daughter and have a piece of life paper that belongs to Big-Mom. [Speculation] It seems to soon for Blackbeard. However this could be a great time to introduce the fourth guy Kaidou.

My money is on Kaidou, personally. I think it'd be very Luffy like for him to be going after another big four when he already declared war on Big-Mom. The reactions from his crew would be glorious.

Man I love this arc. Fisherman arc was soooo boring for me. I swear every chapter of Law getting surprise is very amusing cant wait to see all of this in anime.

Is One Piece on break this week? Also I'm really curious what happened to Law's crew. Hopefully Law and Luffy remain friends it'd be pretty boss to have Shanks and Law as allies in the Yonko.

Fishman arc was boring for everyone. Was probably for the best though, setup some plot and didn't stretch the thin the awesome that was setup from the war/timeskip.

It's all the stuff right before that sucked. The flashbacks just took sooooooooooooooo long to get through and I know I quit caring about 1/3rd of the way through them.

Yeah, it was pretty boring this week. I don't even remember the chapter, so it either was that boring as well, or the episode was super stretched out and mostly filler

The Gintama anime is on a break, I normally prefer manga, but the style with its occasional cgi and live action shots suits TV so much better imo, so I stopped reading and started watching.
