Chapter was fun. New attack was great and Luffy not caring what he was supposed to do is always enjoyable. I like the two new enemies, they should be pretty entertaining

So I guess there's a cure?
Also what is the alliance people are freaking out over? Joker's band or the teamup between Law/Luffy that's playing out on camera?
I think it's the Luffy/Law teamup, but based on Luffy's actions and Law's reaction, I can't see that alliance holding up for much longer. And I would say there has to be a cure. Luffy's hands were covered and half-transformed when he blasted Caesar away and then the crusty layer disappeared when he shrank down to normal again. It's be terrible for Poppa-Samurai to be turned into that plaster/wax/whatever version in a flashback of all things, and if it actually was permanent, it'd be done with much more of an impact for sure
Apparently this week's chapter wasn't worth bumping this thread.
Not a lot happened in this week's chapter is probably why.
Yeah not a lot happened. Chapter started off good and then it just kinda stalled. Need to wait for next week now.

Just to be consistent.
So am I crazy in thinking that the heart Ceasar has isn't Smoker's? I'm leaning towards it somehow being Monet's and that will stop her from blowing up the island.
How would he have gotten Monet's heart? The only opportunity to do so would have been immediately after her fight with Zoro, which is pretty much when he was fighting Iron Man.
I figured that the "somehow" in my original post would imply that it was done without our knowledge and would be introduced as a twist. If I had to make a guess I would say that it would have been sometime before the straw hats arrived on punk hazard since there would most likely have been plenty of opportunities for him to acquire it.
New chapter is out. For the most part (like, all but 1 page) it was pretty predictable lol. But that last page. We might be getting a fun big boss fight as opposed to the lack luster one between Caesar and Luffy
Oh shi...
Shit just got real. Even if the rest was predictable so far, it was still a good chapter.
A bit dissapoint Oda did not use more panels for zoro breaking the wall.
Spoiler: show
Regardless of explanation at this point I think its more Oda setting the bar of the real powerful characters not even needing a crew/boat (see: Whitebeard, Ace, the Admirals, Mihawk)
Well it's a matter of which characters don't see the ocean as much threat to their existence. Clearly Blackbeard has that guy who can just ride a bicycle across the ocean, The Admirals can freeze/evaporate/fly over oceans unaided, Mihawk isn't a DF user, and now Doflamingo just don't give a fuck and can claw his way through thin air. Power in the OP universe seems to be getting expressed as a function of territory control. Doflamingo's building an army, not just a crew.
