We know that Shanks fight Kaidou during the Marineford arc and came out no worse for it so I'd doubt that Kaidou is stronger than Shanks.

It's possible that since Whitebeards death the monicker of "Worlds Strongest" has changed somewhat, we know that Kaidou has been on the receiving end of Caesars custom made DFs for a while now. And we also can't rule out the possibility that Kaidou was simply playing it smart and retreated from Shanks, knowing that taking on 2 Yonkou and perhaps the largest marine force ever assembled in one day was pushing his luck.

Was that from the mangapanda trans? I recall it from there and mangapanda is pretty terribad, especially compared to mangastream. MP for early reads and MS for quality reads.

The shounen hierarchy thing makes sense, as it's pretty typical of the baddies to get stronger and stronger after each defeat. Albeit, Oda/Luffy didn't start with Kaidou to begin with, it was Big Mam. And that has so far lead to no where, so who knows which direction we're gonna be seeing this manga take. Knowing Oda and how he's written the story so far, he'll take the story in a completely different direction after this arc and while we won't confront either of those 2 yonkou right away, it'll happen eventually of course, but who knows when.

Everyone thought Luffy was going to learn about Haki when he got whisked away to Amazon Lily, but that turned into him saving Ace and learning Haki during the timeskip. Not to forget going to the Snow Island and meeting Chopper, instead of going straight to Alabasta. And then you got Robin's betrayal at Water Seven, which lead to Enies Lobby. And Thriller Bark came out of no where, and when we all thought the crew was heading towards Mermaid Island, they ended up at Sabaody and got separated. My point being I don't think his fights with whichever yonkou will happen right away. Shit happens eventually but Oda tends to take his time and really flesh out the stories. Not that that's a bad thing. In fact, I very much like it.

We don't know that actually. We know Shanks blocked Kaidou's forces from attacking WB's but Shanks didn't have a scratch on him when he arrived at the war making it unlikely that there was fighting involved. Seeing as how Shanks stopped the war at Marine Ford peacefully it makes sense he would do the same with Kaidou.

Nami's comment right after implies that Law was not calling him human. I don't think that line has varied much with different translations.

The wording is key though. Being the strongest beast or animal alive means things of another species (IE, Humans) could be stronger. But if he's the strongest "thing" alive, that covers a huge spectrum of types of people/animals/things/etc

The filler actually started out pretty decently too, but it got kinda lame a couple episodes in. We just got to the part where Brook finds and starts fighting Kinemon's torso

I've heard that MangaRule has the most accurate translation for One Piece chapters.

I know MangaStream is much, much better than MangaPanda's, but is MangaRule better than MangaStream?
