I thought Bartholomew was going to take the den den mushi or something and give it to luffy for them.

W E L P Law is OP as fuck, and is bout to go down like a boss. Sanji was praised by flamingo too!
Edit: I think at this point the SH are the strongest crew except for what's left of Roger's and whatever the marines could put together; Oda goes to silly lengths to keep them separated every arc.
If they were all together they'd be able to take down anyone... So of course they need to be separated. If Nami etc. had some more guts they could be super strong too, but their courage is really holding them back. I'd say Zorro, Sanji and Robin by themselves are strong enough to each be in the shishibukai, and Luffy are strong enough to be a Yonko by himself. Then again, a Yonko includes his crew, so I'd say after this arc, Luffy will probably "gain" Dressrosa and will be considered a Yonko since drill guy is offering the Strawhats their fleet.
Then again, Luffy doesn't seem to care about titles, so he'll probably say no to being a Yonko and be regarded as one "unofficially", and will most likely set Dressrosa free and not put it under his protection, instead chosing to see them as allies. And he'll probably not accept the fleet saying he don't need it.
If they were all courageous and super confident, the manga would be all sorts of bland. The way it is now, with the characters the way they are, when they do something out of character (like when Luffy gets serious/mad), it's fucking awesome. But if they were like that all the time, this shit would be boring!
I liked this last chapter. Good build up chapter for next week, and the best part was that there was no "next week on break" message at the end
I'll admit I'm a complete sucker for those One Piece tumblers. Do want.
Luffy being a Yonko will probably be only a misunderstanding by Marines and society in general and not something he asked for in any way.
Anyway, really good chapter. Man, what the fuck is going to happen. We do see Sanji making the call so I'm assuming at least everyone else will be in contact. In the end, I'm happy Sanji is with the boat because he was supposed to be there from the start and he's strong as fuck so it'll be sweet. Brook, Nami and Chopper being too terrified to even try to fight was pretty lame. At least with Namis weather stuff, she can make clear skies.
She didn't know that clear skies was Donflamingo's kryptonite. Now the crew is better armed against him reaching them.
I dunno about turning down the title of emperor, Luffy wants to be king and being emperor would also put him on the same level as Shanks as rivals. And like mentioned many times, they have plenty of allies all over the world that could join as fleet.
I will be so mad if Law ends up dying, he's been one of my favorite characters ever since his introduction when he flipped off Kidd just because he could.
Considering only what? 2 major characters have actually died in the manga so far, I think you're in the clear with Law. Considering all the cliffhangers we've had with people supposedly dying, only to come back a couple chapters later or through one of the cover stories (meaning the Falcon doode in Alabasta, Mr.2 in Impel Dawn, etc, etc. Only Ace and Whitebeard have actually died up to this point. Sabo too I guess, and the people from Robin's original island. But they all died in Flashbacks, no one in the "current" time except Ace and WB)
And I don't see Luffy being a Yonko by choice. By misunderstanding, absolutely, but he wants to be Pirate King and he'll probably go straight for that title instead of working his way up (like Naruto going from Genin -> Hokage most likely >_>)
Ok chapter I guess, bartholomew is the next Buggy book it.
Sigh another break
GOLDEN WEEK, MOTHERFUCKERS!
lol![]()
Theres going to be more breaks? God damn it. So is there no chapter next week because of Golden Week or is there no issue the week after that either?
