As the 20+ contestants left in block D were all knocked out, one person gets up.
Rebecca stands up, using her sword as crutch. The crowd boos.
Everyone else lies knocked out (yes, including Meadows).
Ladies cry out worried about Cavendish, fans of Oorumbus can't believe he lost, etc.

Outside the coliseum, Vice Admiral Bastille tells a marine about the kamaitachi of Rommel.
(Kamaitachi is a Japanese folklore monster, and a strange natural phenomenon of wind slicing up objects)
In the Rommel Kingdom, it was said wind blows through at night slicing people up.
The marines went to investigate, and found out the wind was caused by one man... calling himself "Hakuba" (white horse)
The slim, shadowy figure is holding a saber.
The marines have not caught the man, but Hakuba appears at every city a certain pirate visits...

Rebecca's flashback to the fight in block D, as she stares at the fallen Cavendish

Rebecca is dodging Suleiman's attacks, when suddenly Cavendish stumbles onto Suleiman.
There's something wrong with Cavendish... he falls asleep.
Several gladiators take the chance to attack Cavendish... that's when he dissapears
Then, like a gust of wind, everyone in the coliseum gets cut up by an invisible force.... much like how Kuro did back in early One Piece.

It was Cavendish. With an evil face. Rebecca narrowly avoids getting cut, taking the blunt with her helmet.
As the evil face fades away from Cavendish, his actual persona is still asleep.

That's how this all happened...

The Vice Admiral explains to the marine... Caven turns into Hakuba while daydreaming.
Hakuba is Cavendish's other personality.

When Hakuba first commited crime and fled to the sea, Cavendish became a pirate.
The marine feels sorry for Caven, but the VA tells him Caven is enjoying this situation, do not give him mercy.
Cavendish is a genius swordsman to begin with, and Hakuba is twice as strong as Caven.
Unfortunately the fact he falls asleep when Hakuba comes out, worked against him in this tournament format...
(you have to be conscious to win lol)

Sabo praises Rebecca for being the only one who could see Hakuba, and manage to dodge the attack.
Although he has no intention of letting her have the Mera Mera fruit.

Meanwhile in Dressrosa Palace
Doflamingo is laughing as he and captured Riku sit there watching the fight.
Dofla tells Riku how his granddaughter is a lucky woman. (uh... Sabo just said that wasn't luck, Doffy...)
He mocks the former King on how desperate he has become, going after the devil fruit.
He continues to mock him saying his linage has been rather active lately, including Violet's action, and asks him if this was some special day for the Riku family.

Viola is a cunning woman, she took her chance. She bid on Trafalgar Law and the Straw Hat pirates to defeat Dofla.
But Law is as you can see, in his hands (Law is shown, unconscious on a chair, beat up and chained)
And Strawhat Luffy will never leave the Coliseum as a human.
The only active strawhat is the cyborg Franky, but he doubts Franky can take on his officers.
Franky is shown getting german suplexed by Senior Pink

The pieces left are just Pirate Hunter Zoro, Fox-fire Kin'emon, Nico Robin, and Sogeking.
The only entrance to the factory is the Toy house and the Palace entrance, they will never reach the underground

The Tontatta girl (probably wicca) explains to Luffy/Zoro/Kin that they can get to the Factory from the Palace Entrance. They are all connected within.

She tells them operation SOP is already underway.
The three arrive at the lift connected to the Palace Entrance.
There's supposed to be a guard there they have to show permit to, the Tontatta worries that beating up the guard will alert them.
But the person they find waiting for them at the lift is Violet.
You're Straw Hat Luffy, right? I've been waiting for you. I'll let you into the Palace!

I can agree with you there I suppose. I only cared about the Colosseum when Luffy was involved. Of course, with Sabo involved, I'm incredibly interested now as well. But any of the other competitors I couldn't really care less.

"Block D is in trouble!" is a bad translation off the bat, brb when done reading.

Banter between the marines favors the MangaPanda translation better.
Everything else favors MangaStream's script.

Yeah Mangastream had some good parts but it feels like a lot of it was just off today. Weird. Usually their stuff blows everyone else out of the water.

Liberties taken on both sides for sure, but MangaStream's translator has worked harder to retain the sense of acting given to each character, something normally done by giving characters regional Japanese dialects or stupid suffix punctuation, things that don't otherwise translate well. He definitely struggled with cavendish's backstory and got some lines wrong. MangaPanda's TL translated the gladiator announcer too literally and I don't like the slop job on Doflamingo's brag speech. This page demonstrates perfectly what I'm talking about Mangapanda Mangastream King Riku's line of dialog is clunky as hell, a fault of both editing and script. MP's script keeps all the nonsensical ellipsis in the dialogue bubbles, something not worth hanging onto in the English translation.

Little details like that keep tripping me up on non-MS scans. It's distracting and I have to read shit twice to make sure it was English in the first place. That last sentence isn't particularly elegantly translated by either team. They both mash together sentence fragments because of Doflamingo's speech pattern, but they each could have broken it up into more phrases. They had tons of space in those bubbles but said 'fuck it, good enough.' That's the real difference between amateurs and pros, I guess.

Only the finals remain, and the four Doflamingo family members are going to be skipped and go directly to match against Diamante.
Rebecca waves at Lucy, but realizes he's not the same Lucy she met.
Sabo tells her there may be some ruckus caused, but I'll promise you it won't end badly.
He tells her this country reminds him of the country they (he and his brothers) grew up in.

At the royal platform, Violet tells Luffy & co she has the pass to the lift, but with their suspicious outfits, they may be spotted.
She doesn't recommend using the lift. Violet notices Wicca, she says she saw every thing that happened.
She saw how the one-legged soldier, who raised Rebecca in place of her deceased sister, was working with the dwarfs.
She gives gratitude to Wicca for believing in her father. Wicca cries for her highness.
This is when Luffy figures out she's a former princess.
As she leads them to a hidden passage, she tells them Rebecca is her niece, daughter of her older sister.

The hidden passage is a royal secret passage that even Doflamingo doesn't know about. It leads straight to the palace.
Zoro tells Luffy to carry a boulder to the to and put it on the lift, so they can all get up there faster.
Luffy grabs the boulder, and stretches to the top.

Meanwhile at the Toy house
Franky blasts off Franky Rocket Launcher into all directions.
One missle heads for Senior, and his men tells him he should use his ability to dive into the ground and avoid it.
Senior Pink ignores him and keeps brushing his teeth with his shoes. (Insert groupie girls "oh so hardboiled!")
The rocket hits Senior Pink, and he goes down bruised and bleeding.

He gets up and says his Sui Sui no mi (Swimming Swimming Fruit. Sui = first two letters of Suimingu, swimming) isn't for running away from fights... he swims when he wants to only!
He washes away his blood with brandy.
The real reason he didn't dodge the rocket though... is to protect his comrades who were down on the ground behind him.
Even Franky is impressed as his hard-boiledness.

He calls out to Vice, the comrade behind him on the ground in pain from stomachache.
Mach Vice of the Diamante Army floats up in the air like a balloon, then bodypresses on Franky, which he dodges.
As Franky faces off the two officers, another force enters the area.
Marines led by Vice Admiral Bastille surrounds the Toy house, and demands Franky to surrender.
Vice and Senior are annoyed at this unexpected intruders as well.

Meanwhile in the palace...
Dofla thanks Fujitora for making the decision.
Fujitora replies he's not allying up with Dofla, this is just the right thing to do if the Straw Hats and others are scheming something.
The Marines should focus on minimizing the damage done to the citizens. If the Straw Hat is after your head, then they won't hesitate for mass destruction. Then stopping them is my "justice"
I can deal with you "later".

Doflamingo: What did you say...?
Fujitora replies, he may be a newcomer to the marines through world draft, but as long as he is in the position of an Admiral, there are things he wants to do. And that is... complete elimination of the Shichibukai system!

Another incident where a certain pirate schemed to take over a kingdom... if successful would have been a insidious outcome like this one. (He's talking about Alabasta)
Doflamingo asks what about the balance of three forces? Then strikes Fujitora with a kick.
Fujitora blocks the kick, and tells him who knows what will happen until we bring it down? Keep piling up your wrong doings, and the price of your head will keep going up, Heavenly Demon.
Doflamingo replies that sounded you're saying the time to eliminate me is right now.
Fujitora tells him to not be so brash, we'll be friends... for now.

I'm going to protect your country, whatever maybe exposed in the process, I won't see it due to my blindness.
But the Reverie is this year. The world will make a move regardless..

The Coliseum is starting the final battle.
Koala arrives at the spectator seats just in time to witness.

As the whole coliseum goes wild and awaits the five contestants, Sabo gets ready.
He tells "MarinColosseo" to follow him. No, my name is Bartolomeo sir! Where the hell did you get that!?

As "Lucy" enters the ring, the crowd goes wild.
Sabo thinks to himself.... Just watch me, Ace!!

Great chapter from start to finish. The only problem is that there's so much going on that not much has progressed at all. It's all going at once. But it's so great regardless.
