Great chapter from start to finish. The only problem is that there's so much going on that not much has progressed at all. It's all going at once. But it's so great regardless.

I think that's my one and only real problem with this manga. I love that there are so many characters and the world is so ridiculously diverse and each character has that touch of uniqueness to them compared to every other character. But when so many get involved all at once (like this arc with so many factions, or the war of the best before the timeskip), shit just takes longer than usual to flesh out and explain and progress slows down.

I mean, that's just a minor issue though, nothing to get really upset about for me. It is also the same reason that makes me curious about how big Luffy's crew will be in the end. Including Jinbe, that already makes 10 crew members. And keeping them all relevant in every arc, as well as making sure they all get some sort of fight (whether solo or in small groups), makes me curious about how big Oda will eventually make the crew, and how he'll handle future story arcs too.

If we don't get the Sabo reveal next chapter I'm going to be so mad. Also, now I really want to see Fujitora fight Doflamingo.

That's two admirals that Doflamingo has swung at. I get the feeling he won't be walking away from a third.
Franky's opponent is a surprise considering who he works for. Just wish we'd seen more of the fight in general.
Luffy punching things prediction clock at T-minus 3 chapters. I get the feeling the next month is going to be all Usoland.

I love it how it has come to this point though, I mean reading each week has been satisfying, but it is an amazing experience at an end of an arc to reread the whole thing, like with the current arc it would have started at Punk Hazard. As for the crew aspect, I think Oda has found the solution with the alliance with Law, as in between ships. What I think is, the crew probably won't grow any bigger with the current roster as it is pretty complete. I believe Straw-Hats from here on out will become an armada like White Beard, with alliances of ships, including Jinbe's crew, multiple ships in the Straw-Hat Armada.

- Diamante who ate the "Hira Hira No Mi" can make people feel like they are flags.
- Luffy, Zoro and Kin'emon have entered the palace.
- Doflamingo is upset after learning the that the "Lucy" in the Colosseum isn't "Luffy" anymore.
- Lao G. has taken care of the Dwarves and Toy Soldier with ease.
- Lao G. mentions that without beating Pica no one can make it near Doflamingo.
- Pica appears in front of Luffy, he is a big rock golem.

Hella rad chapter. Having 3 pages of fanart at the start still annoys the shit out of me. That with so many double pages, the chapter felt really short. Still, seeing a lot of new powers and Flamginos face was worth it.

Assuming Luffy is gonna ultimately face off against Doflamingo by the end of this (and assuming they'll be going 1 on 1, without interference from Law or Fujitora or etc), it'll be interesting to see how much of a fight Pica puts up against both Luffy AND Zoro.

Also, where the fuck did Kinemon go? lol He just disappeared.

Pica is gonna get wrecked if that happens but we know Luffy is gonna head for the boss. He probably got the Wall Wall fruit or something. I also noticed the Kinemon thing. He'll come back eventually and be awesome, I'm sure.

Speaking of breaks in the Naruto thread, One Piece is on break next week. The chapter sounds rad, from all the spoilers.

Violet explains Pica is a Stone-Stone fruit, stone-assimilation man.
He's not just a man made out stone.. he assimilates his arms into the walls, and becomes one with the castle.
The whole castle is under his control. He moves the walls on both sides, and sandwitches Luffy & co with them.

Meanwhile at the coliseum
A Battle Fish attacks Burgess, but he counters it with Hadou (wave motion) Elbow attack.
The attack sends the fish flying to the spectator seats, shaking the whole coliseum and punching a hole through it.
Jesus Burgess is one of the Ten giant captains (not literally giant as in the race, but meaning massive man) of Blackbeard.

Another Battle fish appears, the one carrying the prize, and attacks Rebecca.
Rebecca tries to break the chains attaching the chest to the fish, but is easily knocked out by it.
Sabo jump on the fish to claim it for himself, but Diamante attacks him with a long, long sword. (stretched?)
He says he's not going to let you, Straw Hat, have the fruit.
Sabo easily breaks the sword in half with his steel pipe staff.

Burgess takes aim at Sabo to unleash another Hadou Elbow.
The crowds in the spectator seats run out of the way, and Rebecca position herself behind Barto (lol)
Jesus attacks Sabo with the elbow, but Sabo counters with "Dragon Claw" move, fingers spread out like a three-fingered dragon ("Dragon Claw" has the CoA effect on it, with hand turning black)
, and stops Jesus' elbow with one hand. It shatters Jesus' right-arm armor completely.
Sabo notes getting the fruit isn't going to be easy, and Diamante wonders if this man really is Straw Hat, as he fights completely differently.

Meanwhile Usopp side
They reach the Officer Tower where Sugar is hiding.
There are multiple tubes stretching from the tower. Leo explains they are ducts where toys and people are thrown into, that leads to the scrapyard below.

Cavendish is trapped in a room inside the Officer Tower.
He was brought over from the scrapyard to here, and wonders what the sticky substance keeping him here is.
Trebol appears with Sugar. He says there is a different name other than Officer Tower to this room where toys are born... can you answer it, Sugar?
Sugar answers, uninterested, "Officer Tower".
Trebol yells That's not it! as snots explode out of his nose.
Sugar tells him "gross. go kill yourself."
Trebol is a Sticky-Sticky fruit user.

Caven asks the little girl to help him get out of this stickiness, but she touches him and turns him into a toy instantly.
She tells him the contract is "Never harm humans" and "Obay the Family's orders".
Trebol tells him no one remembers him anymore, even Trebol himself doesn't know who he was now.
You will work for Doflamingo until you die.

Caven is aware of his surroundings and conscious, but his body moves on its own to Trebol's orders.
He is sent to the factory where many other gladiators are working as toys.
Sai notes this is where the smuggled weapons came from, while Hack wants to deliver this information to Koala.
But they are both incapable of doing anything about it as a toy. King Elizabello curses his predicament.

Meanwhile, Usopp and the Tontattas spy on Trebol and Sugar from behind a door.
Tontatta's plan is to make Sugar eat a fake grape made out of "Tatababasco", the spiciest spice in the world.
Sugar's favorite food are grapes.

Leo says they tested the Tatababasco on themselves, and it was 100% effective in knocking them out.
18 of them nearly died in the test. lol
Leo himself will attempt to sneak the fake grape in Sugar's basket. When Sugar's screams cry out, that's when everyone will regain their memories, and Doflamingo's true nature will be revealed to the world!

Good chapter, although I didnt like how they spent even more time on exposition on stuff. Like about how the toys work and such. That felt unnecessary since they already showed that. It was great watching Sabo fight and it's cool seeing stuff progress, although I wish they showed more of Luffy + co. Sucks there is a break next week though. D:
