So fucking awesome! Seems like Ussop developed Observation Haki during the chapter! Making him the 4th Strawhat with Haki :3

Now that they have arrived it's time to start seeing how the other battles pay out as we get snippets of the larger battle that will take place after all the other battles are wrapped up. Hard to say though, so many unexpected moments this arc.

I agree. The last time he had so many big moments was at Eines Lobby (winning over Giants + sniper shots at the end). He had fights at thriller bark and fishman that were cool but.. that's not the same. This is probably the biggest thing to happen for Usopp since the series started. Winning over the Tontatta, the underground port + knocking out Sugar, and now this. And at the end of it gets revealed he got observation haki on top of it. I am so pumped for this series right now.

The interesting bit is we haven't actually seen as much of the fights (Zoro, Franky) as we do in the past. Although that's probably what we'll see next week, before Luffy wraps things up with Donflamingo.

I'm just glad that Usopp is finally starting to live up to the potential he showed during training/after the time skip. It's about time that Mansopp showed up.

He's developing, but I wouldn't be surprised if his character's personality doesn't change all that much lol. Using his new Haki to avoid tough enemies rather then fight them in typical Ussop fashion

That being said, I am 1)Stoked to finally see Luffy go all out against a big baddie without some kind of environmental restrictions (being underwater at Fishmen Island), 2)I don't think we'll get to see Zoro go all out just yet. He'll take out Pica but without breaking much of a sweat I suspect. and lastly 3)I could see all the Strawhats get some sort of "developmental" chapter like Ussop got just now. Maybe not Luffy so much. But even Robin in this arc had a pretty bad-ass moment just a chapter ago. Frankie has been pretty boss since Fishmen Island with his Robo-Pirate. And Brooke/Nami/Chopper are due for a bit of a bump in talent much like Ussop just got.

Not saying they'll all get Haki. But I wouldn't be surprised if they all eventually did

I honestly can't wait for this half of the arc to be over and then shift to the Zou (or whatever) crew. You know Sanji is going to wander off and the scaredy-crew is going to have to deal with something on their own.

I'm sure the entire crew will get some type of haki, except with Sanji getting both kinds and probably Zoro with emperors as well.

I figured both Sanji and Zoro had both kinds already (neither has Conquerors). Zoro for sure, no doubt about it. But Sanji definitely has the Observation Haki at least. They both had those moments in Fishmen island where Luffy asked them if they sensed something. And then Zoro cutting whatsherface on Punk Hazard. I'm Sure Sanji has CoA Haki too. But just hasn't had a chance to show it off.

But I totally agree with you. If/when we cut to the other half of the crew, I think it'll be a really amazing chance to show off and grow the weaker members. I mean, Brooke isn't really weak. But he's not really strong either. Kinda halfsies lol

I'm not sure what happened since a lot of the chapter was kind of bleh, but the fighting / STRATEGERY at the end was good

Mangastream version seemed pretty clear-cut to me. Enjoyed the chapter for sure. But probably one of the very rare weeks where it didn't match up to or easily overpass Naruto.

I don't read Naruto but the fight was very good, although it could have been longer. That swap with Laws power to punch Donflamingo was very smart and awesome. Plus that was both the first time we see him actually really get hit, and that was the attack that took down Hody Jones back in Fishman Island. So it was definitely one of his stronger attacks. Also Law fucking up that slime guy was pretty cool.

This is the first time I've ever seen Luffy in a tag team match against a main villain and I love it.

I think it'll be a lot longer. We're just scratching the surface. 1 chapter 1HKO for the main baddie just doesn't sound right. But yeah, it was nice to see Luffy and Law teaming up and using each other's powers together.

Maybe? I think the reason he actually took damage with that punch was because he used Haki, as opposed to Cryos' regular old decapitation doing nothing. He's obviously not down for the count, but seeing him take damage made me pretty happy, and hopefully it will result in less bullshit clone techniques or whatever.
