As much as I don't want a flash back I hope there's more to Doflamingo's story than what they've just shown. It seems like he's saying his life was awful because he couldn't have slaves and shoot people which is pretty lulz

Well it's saying that he grew up in a culture where having slaves and killing people was the norm. Later he was forced to live among those he had been led to believe were far beneath him, watch his mother die due to lack of resources, and was rejected by those he considered his own kind. It also shows he was always fairly driven seeing as he chopped off his own father's head as a child.

It's not a bad backstory it was just told very quickly. We have also been getting hints of it for a long time now. I think the rest of his story will be combined with Law's as the actual flashback to come is likely to be about Corazon.

The scan quality? That's just mangapanda. Sometimes their scans are total shit. The translations this time were terrible. MS's scan is out now though and it way better.

The placement of the flashback is a bit of a bummer. But it was inevitably going to be told at this point. It seems to be going at a pretty good pace though. Albeit, I have a hunch there will be at least 2 more chapters of flashbacks left. Trafalguy called out Mingo a while ago for killing Corazon, and so not only do we have to cover why he killed him, but why Trafalguy likes him/wants to avenge him so badly. And considering Trafalguy just stabbed him in this flashback, it makes me believe there's a lot of flashbackery yet to go lol

So are the tenryuubito just the people who have hoarded technology from the rest of the world? how do they have things like 'identification chips?' Is that why they look like they're always wearing spacesuits and have advanced weaponry but are otherwise buffoonish and physically weak? So weird every time we get a glimpse of what they are.

I think the space suits are mainly their whole "We're above all the commoners, we're not going to breath the same air or touch the same things" mentality. And do they have advanced weapons? Identification chips seem like they aren't that far-fetched, considering all the shit Vega-Punk (and Franky too) has been doing.

I think they have power and hierarchy and nobility that stems back from the hidden century (or whatever it was called). Something about that blank/erased period of time resulted in the current world government and the Tenryuubito and the treasure of One Piece and etc etc.
