Is this the week of no jump cause of holidays? Or is that next week? What's the schedule for that like anyhow?

We get a chapter (double issue) this week. There are spoilers for it!

The schedule will be either no chapters for the next 2 weeks (Christmas+Golden Week I think? I forget the actual holiday) OR we'll go break -> chapter (double issue) -> another break. 2 weeks off in a row is the norm I'm pretty sure, but if we get a chapter between the breaks, it means someone was able to steal it and post it online early lol.

As far as the early spoilers:

Seems like the flashbacks end but still sounds like a bit of a boring chapter.

The Christmas break is almost over. So here, have some spoilers:

Here is a small translation of the summary.

Chapter title Capone "Gang" Bege.

Capone is a shiro-shiro (meaning castle-castle) devil fruit man. Pekoms show great gratitude to Straw Hats and tells them that he will report Big Mom that Straw Hats ran away if they are willing to offer Caesar to Pekoms.

Caesar was asked by Big Mom to do some research, but the research has not come true yet. He told a lie to Big Mom and received much money.

But Capone gets angry and shoots Pekoms from behind. Capone's bounty is 300 million berries. Sanji is forced to go into Capone's castle since Nami and Chopper are taken as hostages.

Big Mom pirates' another mission is to invite Straw Hats(?) to their wedding tea party. Groom is Sanji, third son in Vinsmoke family. Bride is Pudding, the 35th daughter of Charlotte family.

Sanji is in fact the son of what seems to be an important family. Haven't heard the name Vinsmoke before but considering they go out of their way to write something like "Third son of such and such", I'd assume they're pretty important.

Given Sanji's name and that he's the third son, people are guessing his brother's names are "Ichiji" and "Niji" lol

Badass chapter

For anyone interested, Luffy is finally going Gear 4th in the anime this week.

Edit: Only episodes I've watched since Sabo was introduced and got the Fire devil fruit was this one and the one where Zoro took down Pica. I gotta say, they drag the hell out of all this. It's almost excruciating. I mean, I get it, the anime is surprisingly close to the manga and they don't want it to catch up but jeez, the entire first half of the episode was just random people talking about the Birdcage. Like, almost 12~14 (That's including the intro song+recap that takes up the first 5 minutes of the show) minutes worth of just filler junk until we finally got to Luffy.

I love this series but man, the anime can be really garbage sometimes lol

That's why I stopped watching the anime. I think Enies Lobby is the last time the anime was watchable. And I still get chills seeing the (fan made?) "trailers" for it.

There are still some moments and chunks of episodes that are pretty solid. But as far as full episodes? Not so much anymore. I'd love for a fan-edited version that cut out all the fluff.
