Yea you're right but honestly she's gonna be pretty pissed that he even has that information. Her goal is probably to get to Rafel first (why else would she gather them?) and if Luffy gets hers he at the very least now has the same information that she does (but actually more because of the one on the elephant island)

Does she have someone in her crew that can decipher them as well? I'd assume she does but there's the chance that Robin's backstory with her people being wiped out because the World Government didn't want people who could decipher the Poneglyphs alive could play a factor as well.

I domt think theyve mentioned anyone. Maybe Mama is keeping them just so nobody else can get them or because she has a survivor, probably someone from Robin's past which will farther flesh out her backstory

It's entirely possible someone from the WG knows how to read Poneglyphs.

Certainly possible, but not likely. We already from prior reveals that the Five Elder Stars and probably the Tenryuubito have full knowledge of the Blank Century, or at least enough to know when someone has learned too much. I don't think they have someone capable of reading them, which is one of the reasons they wanted Nico Robin alive. Even so, it isn't necessary to translate them unless they want the information on finding the ancient weapons.

Yeah, pretty sure Robin has talked about making paper rubbings of the poneglyphs. It'd be a lot easier to do, and less risky than warehousing & transporting them all over.

I think I figured out the purpose of the bomb. Theory below.

It's really obvious that the bomb is not going to hurt or kill anyone important. Germa and Big Mom peeps will be there and I doubt any of them would be hurt in the slightest (except maybe weaker commanders/generic whatevers). So what's going to happen?

Brooke/Chopper counter attack. Big Mom sends some forces to stop it while they resume the party. Big Mom does a toast, opens the box, and it explodes. None of them die but... the food/cake/etc gets fucking obliterated. Big Mom goes in her food frenzy rage. People out trying to stop Brooke/Chopper hear the explosion and not sure what to do. Team Strawhat takes advantage of the confusion to bust out.

This week's chapter is kinda short, but seems like the turning point in the arc:

Pedro distracts the bulk of the army guarding the treasure room, drawing them away. Brook locks the only entrance to the room behind them, leaving only a small group of guards.

Brook's new ability is being able to use his music to control souls that aren't in their native vessel (i.e. any of Big Mom's soldiers that were created by her)

While Sanji is lost in love and his desire to save the gang, Pudding is thinking about Lola's vivre card and the reasons that she left (wanting to make her own decision about marriage).

Pudding then goes to see Luffy & Nami, talks to them discreetly, then says she will not marry Sanji and says goodbye (as if for the last time - probably means she's gonna follow Lola's path and refuse an arranged marriage).

I really like that Brook is a hard counter to Moms ability. Brook needs more time to shine. It makes sense he made an ability like that while training for two years after he had his shadow stolen for so long.

No idea what Pudding is planning but a ruined wedding means more crazy shenanigans.

I'm seeing a LOT of speculation about her committing suicide. That seems a bit extreme, even for Oda's epic storycrafting, esp. the emotional damage it would inflict on Sanji going forward.

It doesn't seem like she's literally going to kill herself. I think she knows whatever she's planning will draw Big Mom's ire, which she's assuming will get her killed (hence the teary goodbyes now). Of course she'll be saved by Sanji or one of the gang at the last minute. That seems more in line with Oda's style.

But would her leaving cause Luffy to react in that manner? Luffy would support such a thing and wouldn't really care about the repercussions, since he was literally just telling Big Mom to fight him...

Also when did Whole Cake Island actually start? I figured it wouldn't be as long as Dressrosa since this shit is happening pretty fast. Wano being next is pretty logical due to the split. I'm not sure anyone assumed it wouldn't be.
