The bit about the fishman island was interesting.. at least we know what Jinbei's deal is with Whitebeard. Seeing Croc again was definatly A++. As far as the chapter.. eh I felt it was kinda missing something. Though I do love that Buggy + Mr.3 teamed up to leave as soon as possible and keep falling down. Hahaha.

The strength of this storyline seems to lie entirely with what Jimbei has to say about Whitebeard and his crew. The whole Luffy and his Accidental Allies bit seems to be 100% comic relief to ease the tension :D

Yeah it's starting to look that way. I really want to see what HQ's and everyones reaction is when they find out it's Luffy in there. But you know it's going to be "brace for epic" when they get past level 4.. I just hope it doesn't take long but this definatly seems to be fast paced. Which makes me worry something really bad is going to happen afterwards. XD

Oh yeah did anyone else notice when they marked the floors, you can clearly see Level 6 under 5? o.O

I'm not a huge fan of all those lame characters comming back, but at least, it's progressing fast. We won't see them more than a few week hopefully.

The only problem with this week is he spent more then 1 chapter on this floor. It makes me really worried for 4, and maybe even 5 if Ace is kept below.

You know what I love? Reading the moaning going on about how fucking long fights are taking in Bleach, then reading the One Piece thread where 2 chapters spent in one place is a slowdown :D

I also don't see Perona joining the crew. I see little more in her than a desire to be pampered, and that job is taken.

I thought I was the only one who liked Perona here. I don't think she will join the group tho, but she will definitively team up with Zoro until he get back with the crew.

I will be glad if Luffy can reach Ace within 3 weeks (one more on the 3rd floor, two on the 4th floor). I guess the big fight will be on the way back up, because all the strong people are on the first floor right now.

Kubo screwed up with the last arc, and both manga were essentially different since the beginning..I don't know why you try to draw some comparison.

a) Ace is on 6th floor or at least something he'll have to do is there
b) Lots of guys to fight to get to Ace.

Sounds like it'll be 10 chapters+

Well I have finally caught up with the manga. Who do you think has the advantage in a Whitebeard crew vs government + Shichibukai fight. Whitebeard seems to have 3 more dudes of about Ace's level so they should each be similar strength to a Shichibukai making 4 very strong guys on his side, then you have like ~8 Shichibukai more plus admirals that seem to put the balance of power on the government side. Whitebeard will be very very strong himself but is he good enough to make up for having less strong guys. Do you think Shanks or other pirate groups will team up with him?

Luffy is going to free Ace before the fight start, I dont think they will fight. I actually hope they don't, because I'm not really interested in seeing 3/4 of those people, unless they do it offscreen (I really don't want another Bleach).

I thought Ace was on the 5th floor, not 6th. Three chapters was the time I was hoping it would take to reach him, it might take a few more chapters to actually free him (find the key..etc).

Chapter 532: Water themed floor, holy shit, Crocodile is there
Chapter 533: More fighting/running
Chapter 534: Drop down and rush to Ace
Chapter 535: The poison dude get there, try to stop luffy
Chapter 536-538: Big fight
Chapter 539: Fight isn't going well, the only exit is blocked
Chapter 540: They escape to the 6th floor
