so I'm curious, does luffy know how to use haki to some degree or just randomly bursting out when he's put on the spot? See him kicking the hand away then ofc final panel shot too, with magellan logia and all ;x.

Luffys gonna get beat on a bit and get really tired. Then, like someone said, hes gonna get some food and be all "Im awesome" again. Problem is then the poison, but I dont think he gonna get an antidote, I think hes gonna end up putting something on his hands to keep them from melting.

I don't think its literally melting. It looks like he just has the poison on his hands, pouring down on them.

I'm pretty sure the poison doesn't melt your body... so far it looks like it just envelopes your body. Apparently it acts on your nervous system.

Yeah.. everyone we've seen got drenched in it, which seems to be the intent of the attack. Just getting your fists covered might not be that bad.

I seriously don't see Luffy beating Magellan. It's going to take nobody less than Whitebeard crashing the gates of Impel Down to really put an end to that fight. At most Luffy will make it to level 5 but won't have much use of his limbs

Honestly I think Luffy will beat Magellan with out too much difficulty. His Jet attacks don't actually have to touch the guy he's fighting so he doesn't have to worry about the poison that way. The biggest problem is just avoiding the poison hydra long enough to get a few attacks off.

Look at Megellans face.. he looks beat the fuck up. He is definatly paramecia and he really can't take hits, he had 2 panels of X_X face going on. Of course he isn't down after one hit.. but I can't imagine him being Lucci level or anywhere close at all. It's all the fear of poison that makes him strong I thinks.

eh? jet attacks still make contact with the enemy, dont they? i thought it was just hella fast like lightspeed-whoa cause of g2 thus making it look like a ranged air-pressure atk or whatever the hell it looks like. jet pistol is just a regular ranged punch, just fucking hella fast like bullet speed; fists still be hurtin. look at luffy's hands after using jet bazooka too btw, nigga got acid on his fists yo

I was under the impression that the Jet attacks could be used as a ranged attack just with less power behind them than if they actually connected. I could be totally wrong on that though.

But yeah, it's gonna be a good fight regardless.

That would make a lot of sense. Luffy always seem to be creative with his approaches, i.e: when fighting that lightning God (forgot his name) he would punch him indirectly so his opponent couldn't tell what he was doing. Maybe further down the fight he'll think of this. Very good prediction!
