Mahou Sensei Negima! And Naruto manga is also excellent. OP really outshines all others with the anime part of it.

Eh? I never pick favorite animes or mangas. I hate choosing between apple and orange. OP is fun to read most of the time (not to watch imo...too slow), but what I enjoy the most is backstory, and there isn't enough of it.

OP went backstory/flashback heavy with the CP9 arcs. Ever since they've lived in the present and it's been pretty nonstop. I like that more than alternating too frequently between flashbacks and present-day. I get enough of that from primetime TV.

I love flashbacks, but I was mostly talking about the world's backstory. I want to hear more about Gold D Roger, the world government, the history that was erased, Luffy's father..etc It doesn't matter if it's done through flashback or told in the present, I just want more info.

It's not that I hate the normal story arc, but I always wish they would get to the point a little faster. Food joke and short battle don't turn me on.

Then you'll probably like this arc. It really is sort of "brace for epic" with what we found out this chapter. You know the major players will appear and it'll be a good time to learn something interesting. It is slow, but in a way it kinda keeps me interested that way. You didn't expect Rayleigh to give away everything when they met, did you? XD

I can't wait to see how this arc will end. I just hate how long they are taking to reach the bottom of the prison. Lot of character I don't care much about, and would rather not see.

I don't think Rayleigh gave that much away, but it was a good setup for the last 500 manga.
