    Because Oda takes proper breaks rather than write filler. He leaves that dirty work to the people who write the anime.

    More importantly, he paces and concludes fights much better than he used to. They're over in 3-4 chapters, tops.

    Are you talking about Camie? I noticed it a while ago, but I pretty much did 200-500 in one sitting, so it was still fresh in my memory.
    It's pretty cool, but it's not hard to plan something like this ahead (if he wanted to do a stop on fishmen island someday).

    When Garp said "do we really want to face 2 legends at the same time.." but had all those marines at the AH anyway always had me wondering. And with Kuma talking to Rayleigh I really think now that the marines wanted to recruit him to fight WB (since they were always rivals) for his freedom or something. Sure, sounds farfetched, but if he really is then the crews Vivre Card to get back to Shabondy will go to the Marine HQ where everyone else will be.
