And he may not get the weakness at all since it's his technique whereas he's stealing shadows from others to give them the weakness. He could very possibly be immune.

No idea who that is but yeah I think he can strech it out from him, so I'm sure he can do something. But part of his main threat was zombies + taking their shadows to power up. I just wonder how he became a Shichi in the first place, and what he can do w/o his zombies. I think he's one of the weakest ones tbh. >_>

It's a valid argument, but I'm not sure you can say it's the only big threat from him. It's possible the zombie army is just the LAZIEST form of defense/offense that Moria could come up with, along with them also being completely loyal. All he had to do was create the zombies and then he could sit on his ass and they'd all fight for him. And that's pretty much how he handled the straw hat crew until the end, lol.

Also, I don't believe Arlong was a shichibukai. Crocodile is the first one that Luffy defeated.

Arlong was never a Shichibukai, but it was mentioned that he was on par with them, it was either him or Jimbei that was going to be the fishman shichi. Of course from what we've seen now Jimbei is much stronger.

It never said he was as strong as him. All they said was he left his crew in east blue in exchange for becoming a shichi. Well the translation is bad, but what I think they meant was he had to disband his crew and thats where Arlong went.

Also no way, don't think arlong was as strong even closely to Crocodile, or any other Shich, think that was a miss trans.

I finally broke down and read the manga. holy SHITTT this arc is good! But now I have to go through the same thing with the Naruto manga, an agonizing wait each week =(( For the past few years I've been letting all the eps for each arc pile up over a 6-12 month period then watching it all in one go =(

Whitebeard's far from immortal and I'm guessing there's a very good reason he's constantly hooked up to IVs/oxygen tanks when he's not busy starting wars. I doubt the story has him on a collision course with Luffy.
