I really enjoyed this chapter, looks like things are picking up speed again. I also enjoyed the Don Flamingo speech... To think that such a great/mature theme would be involved in an Anime (that's targeting kids) is incredible and makes me really appreciate Oda's work.

It obviously wont be serious. It's not like Luffy aimed for Aces, it's just his luck making land on top of him.

I really enjoyed this chapter. Yeah there were a lot of 2 page spreads but they worked really well here. Don Flamingo's Justice speech was very epic, and I wonder what Hancock is going to do now. Luffy and Co. grand entrance was the definition of awesome.

I enjoyed episode 416, BUT there are a couple of things I didn't like. For instance, the manga chapter was called 'A Fatal Disease', and the rescuing Ace thing came up randomly in the chapter, which I believe was a huge spoiling on the anime's part.

Secondly, the unnecessary filler at the start (it was done well though) cut out from the chapter and they actually did not complete the last scene.

Overall though, the episode is still highly enjoyable. And I like the fact that they included my favorite panel in the episode in it's exact format.
