He's had his moments but ya you're pretty much right. He needs to get some much stronger weapons and the biggest thing is that he needs to stop being a coward. I think the time in the jungle may help him over come his fears.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Zoro/Perona filler arc. Bet those 2 will have some funny moments together. :D It's not gonna happen but I am kinda hoping he brings Perona back with him and she becomes the next Nakama

Don't think it'll be Buggy or Mr.3 and all the other characters in this arc are way too strong to join the crew IMO.

I dont see it happening. I dont think she would make a great crew member either, even if her character isnt too bad imo.


The arc I wanted to see the most was Robin's, but since it's filler, I dont think anything interesting will happen. Zoro could be interesting too I guess. The rest look terrible.

Usopp lying based fights like against Mr.4 and Perona are also good. Though as stated b4 I'm also disappointed at his lack of determination and also not fully utilizing his dial arsenal that he had against Luffy.

Also some his weakness falls partly into the general weakness in all projectile weapons in the series, the only person to die from a gunshot was Bellemere, even Professor Clover took it like a Boss and still got up to throw books into the lake.

Blackbeard killed a Whitebeard crewmember (obviously) but beyond that his record is largely unknown. He is personally in a surprisingly small number of chapters considering his relevance to the last few arcs.

Coverstory Zoro

Luffy vs Smoker, but Luffy's attack doesn't hit him.
Angered Hancock jumps in, and kicks Smoker.
Ivankov vs Kuma.
Ivankov tries to talk to him, but no response
Seeing that, DoFlamingo comments
"I don't know what your relation is to Kuma... but the Kuma you knew is already dead"

Buggy fights alongside Whitebeard
Whitebeard realizes what Sengoku is up to, and gives orders to the NW captains.
Ace makes up his mind. If his crew gets to him and reaches out to him, he'll grab their hands.
But if the blade gets to him first, he'll accept the punishment, and won't try to struggle.
Hancock rushes to Luffy's aid, and joins him.

Jinbei vs Moria
Moria swallows the marine shadows and becomes massive.
He attacks Jinbei, but Jinbei simply counters him with a straight fist, blowing Moria away

Kizaru vs. Marco;
Garp exchanges looks with Whitebeard, Whitebeard grins.
Sengoku: ?
The marines' plan is to seal the island by the power of someone with the ability "prison" and end the Pirate Age (hm?).
Garp is giong to leave the place of executoin, but Akainu senses something and intervenes. Smth is said about hero etc.
Smoker overwhelms Luffy and catches him, but Hancock intervenes. Luffy remembers how Rayleigh stopped Kizaru.
Smoker is surprised.
Tashigi asks (or hears) smth about Roronoa.
Kuma vs Ivankov. Kuma attacks mercilessly. Ivankov tries to say smth, Donflamingo appears and says that the Kuma that Ivankov knew is no more, as good as dead.

This huge battle is kinda boring in overall thought. I want to see how it will end, everything else is pointless

Ah good stuff. Buggy part was great. Also Jinbei fucking up Moria was good, I hope he's out because he is really annoying. I think that the faggot guy was lying about Kuma, or at least half lying. He seemed to still be the real one inside in the past so.. if something happened it would have been very recent. Maybe that's what he meant when he said "We wont meet again.."? Who knows.

Also the epic Luffy vs Smoker showdown was cut short. I really expected more out of this without the interference.

Nothing more to really show if Luffy isn't supposed to get his full Haki power up yet. He can't hurt Smoker without it, so it's a rather boring fight...
