Was an ok chapter, not great. I'd be excited about the mihawk vs luffy duel but I just know that his slash will be stopped by Marco or someone else on the very first page >_> Along w/ more battles of other people.

Yeah the battle is going kind of slow.. :/ The Kuma stuff was interesting but from last week I figure most people guessed it already. If he goes back to the way we was with some hormones or something it might be awesome. It looks like Luffy is getting pretty close if he is at the shichibukai starting point (since Mihawk didn't seem to bother moving at all).

Oh nice I didn't notice that on my first read, thanks for pointing that out. I don't mind Oda drawing/showing the fights on the side but these breaks make it painful when I also want to see Luffy finally make it to Ace.

So I have a question, I've predominantly and historically watched the kaizoku-fansubs releases but they're now at a 100+ episode deficit compared to what I can find on hulu...is there another reliable place to catch up?

So I've recently started watching One Piece(on episode 160something), are any of the movies good or relevant to the plot in any way? Not sure exactly when each of them tie into the story, or if they're worth the watch.

afaik none of the movies are canon and if you miss them you aren't losing out on critical plot points. I've never watched any but that is pretty typical of all OAV animation produced from a manga adaptation.

Well one of the OVA shows Luffy in a pre-gear second fight scene. Let me look it up on which movie was it. And no you won't miss anything if you don't watch the OVAs.
