I've been enjoying the little side fights since the start of this arc but now I'm ready to get in this line. It does need to conclude.

Apparently it's Canon. The writer/drawer/creator of One Piece (Oda) is working on the tenth film which can't help but make people think it'll be an actual part of the storyline. And not just working as in keeping an eye on it and supervising it and giving his approval. But helping write the story and such.

Not sure if the movie, luffy fighting shiki, is actually canon but the character is and ch. 0 is too.

Ch. 0 apparently shows everyone who was around 20 years ago as they looked like back then.

Why couldnt Luffy just catapult himself like he does sometime? I know there was more people on his way, but the place doesnt look that huge either.

Glad there was actual progress, I can only hope the fighting gets wrapped up soon. Chapter 0 was good too I guess. Too bad we didn't really see what Roger could do it just showed like everyone else. >_>;

There is one thing that bothered me. They were saying "no one ever escaped from Impel down" when Luffy was inside...but it's obviously a lie. Of couse, it's not surprising the goverment would lie about it, but it feel more like a retcon than anything. Not that I really care either way.

So anyone else think Golden Leo and Blackbeard look similar? Think there's going to be any relation? It would make sense if he's looking to make Blackbeard the big single enemy for Luffy since he'd also have the pirate genes going with him.

No, they said someone had escaped impel down before. Go read it again they even mention Shiki.

That was my impression as well. And it makes far more sense that Garp would be the one to lend aid here as opposed to one of the pirates he pretty much just left behind.
