Seriously, I am so fucking mad/upset/shocked/stunned right now I don't even know where to begin. This might be the first time I ever look for spoilers before the chapter is scanned just because I need to see what happens next. FUCK.

High class fights are governed by Haki, which allow even non-Logia types to fight Logia types as if they're solid. As well, this guy is a counter Logia of Ace's. There are times where similar Logia types can fight to a standstill against one another (Smoke vs Fire and such) but with both a counter-type and extreme Haki (because as an Admiral it's possible he is more powerful than Ace...) the attack could be made on Ace as if he was solid.

He fought whitebeard 1v1 for a while and took out most of the pirates by himself, and now he just smashed Ace in seconds. Akainu is the only admiral that seems to actually care about winning against the pirates. I think thats what puts him above the others. Akoji is lazy and has his own justice, and Kizaru acts dumb and obviously doesn't always get the job done seeing how he forgot about the supernova.

i think its pretty funny to see some people bitch and moan when nobody is ever killed off in the naruto+bleach threads and people crying at the possibility of a side character getting killed off here.

Naruto and Bleach normally attempt to be serious attempts at "violent" worlds. OP has ALWAYS had the light-hearted and happy feel to it, which keeps it from needing to kill someone off. The comedy is much much less common in Naruto/Bleach, so people feel it needs to make up for that by being dramatic and killing people is a part of that. OP doesn't need to kill people, because it's a great story with great laughs thrown in.

That said, I'm not against the idea of people dying in OP.

That's what I said on last page. I just don't see it. Personally, I wouldnt be surprised if he take over whitebeard pirate or something. Maybe he is a little too weak for that, but thats probably where he will go back after.

Brooke isnt dead, he came back to life. You can't be dead if you come back to life!

We shall wait for kaze1028's photo to verify the post, but the post is 99% really there, and the right phone model.
So the question is, whether this really is Apprentice, or we finally have an imposter.... or we have to swallow this as truth.

I don't understand why people keep saying that would be a waste of a year's story. The war has more meaning than saving Ace, it's about a new era. It's like saying any movie where the main character dies at the end is a waste of a movie.
