I've seen little brothers getting bullied by my friends (their older brothers) and I've seen similar situations so I'm leaning towards real. If it was real, they also were to blame, they were kind of bullying him. If I was the older brother, I would probably also make a video, but I would never post it on YouTube to embarass him on the internet, possibly scarring him for life.

Whoever said something about him not taking the laptop somewhere else obviously didn't see the cable connected to it. I think it was real, just because he was actually crying, and he was looking at the camera because someone was holding it and talking to him, not for his "cues".
