Aparently FFXI's Finest doesn't translate across MMOs too well. I'm sure most of you remember IRON of Bismarck right?

Cliffnotes:
Tredvolt still RMTs gold that should be distributed to his members per his rules. (see thread for details)
Tredvolt has no idea how to play a Warrior but still takes all the loot before using their /random loot system.
Tredvolt's lackey Hellglory gets assigned loot as well yet has no idea how to play a warrior before the /random loot system is used.
The guild as a whole is just BAD. Terrible. Its not the fault of the "terrible WoW community" we all hear so much about, the corruption and failure starts at the top of the chain of command here.

IRON is a complete joke. I was in there for 8 months before I left and I feel like I wasted part of my life. The way the guild is run is more corrupt than the Presidential cabinet and the officers are more greedy than Scrooge himself.

Tred has a “payout” system for the guild. He does banking irl, so I guess he thought it would not be completely weird or anything to bring it to the game. On the IRON forums he has a 3 page explanation of the “shares.” (I am pretty sure that Tred and I are the only ones who actually read it) Basically, after 3 months you become entitled to shares. You do not even need to log on…just be in the guild. (After all, IRON is after quantity not quality) After that, it compounds each month. (After 5 months you might need a calculator). This payout keeps about 50% of the people in the guild. Not a bad idea if you ask me. I am pretty sure that all the top guilds use this system. After all…it does make sense, right? (It allows Tred to take 80,000 gold out of the guild bank for personal use…don’t worry Tred…nobody saw it. If Enron can get away with it then so can you…oh wait…)

IRON is so good that they also have a second 25 man raid. The lead the people in this second raid to believe that they will be used in the future. This second raid is more like cattle. They basically sit around and waste time. They will never be used for BT or Hyjal but it is cool because they have the honor of being in IRON. Oh wait, nevermind.

Tred did mess up with his gear, but there are two reasons why it wasn’t a complete waste:
1) Kulganflame does ALL the tanking, but yet Tred takes every piece of gear that drops.
2) I heard that in 3.5 Mutanus the Devourer in Heroic WC will require only avoidance. I guess Tred will be ready.

I also do not understand why IRON sells all their gems (except the ones the officers take for free) and HoDs. Totally corrupt system. I guess they do not care about BT progression. Once again, I heard all the best guilds sell items required to progress in the game, right?

Joke explained the officer loot system perfectly. Tred takes every item first. A lot of times Tred would stop showing up and just fish in Nagrand after he had every item. But Joke forgot to include all the other officers (fuukochan excluded). They are all greedy and some do not even understand the game. (the warlock CM did say that affliction was not a dps spec and later changed his mind. Go ahead and deny it now…you know you said it) They also have a moonkin druid for their CM. Enough said.

I could go on and on, but I think most people on KJ already get the picture.

I can't believe shells that were good in one game aren't good in every game. Also, I can't believe shells that were good for a while in one game aren't always awesome. I am sad knowing that sometimes rule systems are abused by people and that sometimes, people aren't fair.
