why should he now. he's not doing us a disservice. only taking 10 hits on gorefiend while we go balls out. hate's never been an issue, he has over 18k hp fully buffed, and never have I heard a healer complain about keeping him up, or a dps having to hold back due to hate.

This is probably because your raid DPS is shit, and is not helped when he hogs all the spinels for his wtfdodge build, while your dps and casters are all forced to use honor-bought gems or crappy pyrestone/amethyst combos instead.

18k HP is what I expect from protection warriors in Karazhan. Our warlock tank in SSC has that much HP.

one of our non cookie cutter shiv/envenom spam rogues pops a 5k crit envenom 15 seconds into a fight and the mob doesn't even blink at him.

5k/15 seconds = 333 dps. I do that much auto-attacking. Naked.

'non cookie cutter' is the mating call of the mediocre player. No rogue in their right mind would use shiv as a primary CP gain tool and Envenom DPS < deadly poison DPS, every day of the week. I'm starting to get really worried about WoW endgame when shit like this gets this far into t6 content.

Oh yes...people have complained enough to make everything easy. Just wait until 2.4 when the attunements for hyjal/BT are removed.

If we had one shaman tred would ahve that shaman in his grp dropping agil totems and leaves rogues with nothing but a warrior. if we even have one to give. 2nd the feral druid will be in his grp...not the melee dps grp. so he has more crit. he takes the lock which makes sense. but he takes a paladin for armor. which makes sense.

now heres where teh dps is really gimped and the healin is hurt. thru the course of the 6 months of healing i did we always had 2 shadow priests in the raid. one is in the hunters/warlock grp and leave all healers lack there off sps and melee dps hurting.

When ppl tell you that no one pulls from tred they are lying. rogues and warriors hunters and locks pull all the time, tred yells so ppl reley heavy on agro earasers.

sh1t hellglory rips agro and dies prolly everyboss fight. even on lurker with crap dps i see ppl die and res and pull agro again.

now i will admit he isnt hard to heal what so ever and on bloodboild he worked great as a tank cause those debuffs never stacked up more than 6 and the other 2 tanks got way to many. to even heal thru.

but anyways, treds grps and strats to most fights shows the lack of pre bc raiding exp he had. 100s of times id have to beg for the guild to redo the strat after hours of wipping.

p/s i heard u guys have to raid Black temple all day during the day if you want any gems for yourself......this isnt a treat its a slap in the face you have to raid all day all week if you want loot and gems. sad if thats why ur staying there.

what part of it's never been a problem that you can't quite possibly grasp. if it hurts you so much that you can't sleep at night that a tank is socketing agility, roll a tank on kil'jaeden, get to 70, get yourself geared and keyed, and apply to the guild and prove us wrong. otherwise, we couldn't give a shit what you think. Our raid dps is more then enough to kill stuff in a timely fashion, hate is never an issue, blah blah blah. but that's right, it's the internet and god forbid if someone does something different in a game.

If they think a rogue shivving in 5/5 assassination and BoE swords is good enough for BT it's unlikely any of them can use something as complicated as WWS.

yea, tred yells if someone pulls hate, cause honestly unless it's a healer, if anyone pulls hate, it's there fault. as for hg pulling hate, i've never once seen him yank hate during a fight. As I said earlier, those former iron members whining in there are only complaining due to a lack of spoon fed relics. I guarantee if they were getting everything they wanted the second it dropped, they'd never say a word. 8)

I still remember people would mock him for thinking a bard can tank (think AD had jwb tank fafhogg a couple times on brd/nin), and the laughter really errupted when we had our off tank war's sub whm. Thinking outside the box never hurt anyone. Should try it some time, it can be fun.

People here and in that thread are laughing at him for a reason - your tank is not thinking outside the boss, just playing the class inefficiently.

The only two iron members complaining were about to be booted for being assholes and expecting everything to be handed to them, one of which actually came back for a second run after quitting. If his tanking ever becomes a problem though, I'll make sure to come back to you all for advice, but i don't see that happening.

Not saying it doesn't work, just saying it's inefficient. Everything would be made easier (and by easier I don't mean yay let's 1 shot all of our progression bosses) by him fixing the things I mentioned.

Moonkin tanks work, PVP spec'd rogues work, survival hunters work, etc, etc...see what I'm getting at?

i see what your getting at, but yet we haven't had an in-efficiency problem. I've done ssc with druid tanks, blood tanks, and evasion tanks, and i've seen the best success with evasion tank with a blood below him in the rare event something goes horribly wrong and he dies.
