Annoying tingly feelings in my neck

I was sitting at school Tuesday when I noticed that these tingly jolts started shooting up into my head. They were not painful, but they tingled and were pretty annoying, and ever since that day, I've been having the same problem with my neck and right above it/back of my head. I think all of this could be coming from me drumming on Rock Band to much while having a bad posture. I went to the doctor yesterday and she said that's probably the problem. So yeah, I was wondering if any of you guys have ever had this problem, and how long did you have it? And if this continues, what should I do? Like I said, these problems don't cause any pain. It's just tingles and they are fucking annoying and drive me insane.

Suspend yourself from a high area via your neck with a loop ended rope so that your neck and spine get stretched out.

Intercranial pressure causing the arteries in the head to get blocked up, thus the pain in the neck.

Probably an egg from a spider that was laid in your neck wiggling around. It'll feed on your jugular vein when you sleep.

If the sensation is just above where your head connects to your neck, then your problem is too much pressure on your cervical vertebrae (woot, finally my medical knowledge amounts to something) and it's just clenching your nerves there (of which there are quite a lot of). Go see a chiropractor, and if the problem persists go see a doctor immediately as that part of your head is pretty much the most essential part of your body. If you rupture a disc there surgery will be shitty to have to go through.

You could also be clenching the jugular vein or carotid artery and it's just causing your neck to fall asleep. It's common, albeit dangerous and less likely.

Fuck chiropractors, assuming you have insurance, go to a real doctor and explain the situation thoroughly.

.... and the doctor will tell you to go see a chiropractor for a pinched nerve, that is, after you have paid the doctor visit and X-rays and all that (cuz you know insurance doesnt cover everything).
