Weak, Amy Ryan should have taken Best Supporting Actress.

Tilda had, like, less than 15minutes of screentime in Michael Clayton >.> At least her acceptance speech was interesting.

anyway.. i want juno to win but, i don't think it has a chance.
This was the biggest fail I've ever seen. I saw both movies, the graphics in GC were good but they weren't that great, and the movie as a whole was horrible.Originally Posted by Tyche
yay for the stripper getting best writer.
Anything that puts more Ellen Page on TV is good by me.Originally Posted by Tyche
I need to watch "There will be Blood" but it really isn't my genre. It's cleaning house, and apparently has a very good chance of taking best picture.
So glad that Day-Lewis got best actor![]()
I'd be glad if it wasn't such a foregone conclusion the moment I saw TWBBOriginally Posted by Naramaska
What was his other oscar win for? And he has 4 nominations which is pretty impressive for someone who you don't see too often.
Ya I kind of feel the same way. Daniel Day Lewis is a really good actor though, he was awesome in Gangs of New York. He looks so different too w/o his facial hair o.O
Just that scene with Daniel Day Lewis screaming "i've abandoned my boy!" has really gotten my interest. And like you said all the awards its been winning too. I've liked all of his movies and it seems like it would be good. Seems like I'll be renting a lot of movies after watching tonight.Originally Posted by Tyche
EDIT: He one for One Left Foot back in the early 90s
wtf was Daniel Day Louis thinking when he picked out those gigantic hoop earrings? I mean, fantastic performance, but they look hideous.

Rofl. Guys from No Country for Old Men won and one of em was like.. "Uh.. I don't think I have anything to add from earlier... so thanks."
LOL I like the Coen brothers speech. "I have nothing else to say"
No Country: 4 wins
There Will Be Blood: 2 wins
The Bourne Ultimatum: 3 wins
La Vie En Rose: 2 Wins
And lots of one-ofs
