I cant believe the shaky cam of Borne Ultimatum won "Film Editing." Not a good sign for those of us who get headaches from that movie and Cloverfield.

What again does the camera work have to do with the editing? Maybe it won best editing because you could still tell wtf was going on despite the super shaky camera.

Watching the awards I realised just how disapointed I was in many of the films this year. Sure there were some good ones, but none really stood out like in previous years (Last king of Scotland was last one that stood out). Im glad Juno won because I felt that film was underrated.

Also anyone else think Jon Stuart kicked ass as host? I didnt like the host last year.

Diablo Cody's screenplay wins a BAFTA and now an Oscar. The emperor has no clothes! Seriously, the writing is overrated. I get turned off by movies that are just an endless stream of setups for the writer's "clever" monologues that they have been saying around their buddies for years.

they got screwed at the Grammys but Oscar treated them. I love Glen Hansard and Marketa.
If you are modifying "amazing" with "beautiful" you need to tack on the "ly" to make it an adverb. And if you're using both "beautiful" and "amazing" to modify "speech" then you need a comma separating the adjectives. Only doing this because you're the "GRAMMARHAMMAR" or something retarded like that.

That was really sweet; their speech that is. I loved the part at the end where Jon's going:
"And she said "But they're both guys" and he goes "It's Hollywood."

He did a really good job tonight. I'm glad they picked him to host.

I'm so glad they won best song in a movie... but that was pretty classless of them to play her off the stage before she even got to open her mouth. Kudos to Jon Stewart for calling her back out, because it was the right thing to do.

They were really quick with the trigger on the music for a lot of the early awards. I remember one guy's music started playing almost immediately after he begun speaking.

If you think it was Jon's call to bring her back out you're sorely mistaken. Also, they didn't purposely play her off early; they thought that her male counterpart was going to give the acceptance speech for both of them. Honest mistake.

I'm sorry, I didn't see anywhere in the laws of man that there was something wrong with that.

Oh my God, not knowing that it wasn't Jon's call and that they didn't do it on purpose makes me a horrible person!!! What an honest mistake to make!
