K well i decided that I am going to Cap bio 3 merits for my RDM, now I've done alot of searching and generally I find just arguments by uninformed people about tiers and effectiveness and things of that nature. A few main questions:
1. What is the highest tier (non /sch) attainable for bio3 and exactly how much damage per tick is it?
AFAIK the highest non /SCH tier is 8/tick, w/ capped merits it's 240 damage over 90 seconds not counting initial damage, the same amount that Bio II outputs in 120 seconds at 6/tick.
2. If you capped bio3, do you regret it? Love it? Hate it?
I used to, then undid it for more a party-oriented Group 2 setup. If you're going to DoT solo heavy duty NMs, it's very nice to have, it'll shave about 1/3 off of the amount of time it takes to DoT something to death over Bio II, and faster is safer. I miss it when doing Zip/SC now, but I'm happy with my stronger Para II and Phalanx II, and Bio II although slower is good enough for me.
3. Has any testing been done on /sch to see if there is a "Higher Tier"?
I haven't seen any, I want to but I dropped Bio III altogether and I'm not redoing my Group 2's again.
4. Would you sleep with me?

He quit doing RDM solos, he's too busy warping minds and asploding linkshells.
