    I updated some of the Golem NM information, seeing as I just got to fight it firsthand ;x That was a pretty fun fight, though. A lot different since we had to split up the fighting for once on a boss.

    But to answer the question at hand, it's best to split your alliance up if you are melee heavy. At tier 2 you can still manaburn, but it's not going to be as efficient as it was on Tier 1 because of multiple waves. It's possible, but you might run into magic resistant mobs (if there are any?)

    A lot of the mobs on that floor can be double assisted, but the one's I'd stay away from are Slimes/Kraken/Draguar.

    Superkite is how my group deals with Logi as well as the unsleepable hounds from Wing 3.

    The bombs die really fast, but your healers gotta be on the ball to erase the burn from Heat Wave. It's pretty nasty DoT.

    The Self-Destruct from the Logi is pretty bad too, if it manages to get off. Nearly destroyed one of my alliances when it got off. Just have a stunner paying attention to it, it has a pretty long charge time.

    I was under the impression that when they double in size, i.e. ready to explode, they are resistant to stun?

    We've killed 2 Odins now but I think I seen probably the shittiest Tier 2 draw yet, maybe...

    We took care of the bombs decently as we have figured out a decent strat on them but that strat involves us being all over the place picking them off the kiter. Unfortunately, someone was d/c'ing when the last died and wasn't able to get out of the middle before shit popped. Soooooooooooooooooo, 24 mobs raced @ us @ once ~__________~

    Sounds hard for a tier2, easy for a tier3. Either way, that sucks about somebody DCing in the middle x.x

    We finally really moved on to wing II and since then we only got the golem boss O.o lol Just thought I'd share the strat my ls is using ^^ Instead of splitting and killing both at same time, we have a nin holding one and we focus on the other and take it down to 10%. Then we go back to the other and when it's down to 10% as well we have blm -ga both and we split to finish them. It took us just under 10min to kill that boss with that strat with 24 ppl for yesterday's run (8blm 2drk 1drg 1thf 1war 2sam (1with relic) 1 mnk 2rdm 2whm 1 pld and 3brd). Wow just realized we had a lot of blm for once :O we usually have more DD

    Hey all, just after some strat advice on The Poroggo NM on Tier II.

    We've fought it a few times entering with 24+ people, we're well geared Adaberk/Ridill/Ace's Etc anyway good DD's..
    The main problem we have is the random hate issues where the damn frog just runs all around the area stalling the kill.

    Poroggo
    This frog is pretty fun. He does all the same frog moves as you can find in Assault and Salvage and elsewhere. He uses single-target charm early, but after 10% (maybe earlier) he can use an AoE charm. Just have uncharmed people run around aimlessly (if you have crimson or herald's or trotters or skadi, have fun kiting!) He will cast Sleepga, so Poison Pots are needed. He will cast -aga3's, but can be stunned (Can build resist). Water Bomb resets hate, so a tank needs to be ready to pull it off a mage if that's who it goes for.

    Used chain stun however became totally resistant to stun after a while and we just timed out after charm.

    My question is, would a strategy involving every member crowding the frog and simply zerging it down help with the random running around if chain stun order was used? Has anyone found this affective or tried it?

    Just annoying to time out when it's due to the mob moving too much.

    I believe the frog is not random hate per say...But rather it just runs to a random spot in the room and parks itself, then starts casting on the nearest person after it stops. And yes, this generally occurs after the ol' Water Bomb. Stun ga3, stun sleepga2, leave everything else. Just have somebody kite when it does Frog Chorus. Not too difficult. Just practice at it and it becomes easy.

    Poroggo boss uses Frog song every 2 min exactly (it's not a random attack) after each, he runs everywhere without taking into account the hate and uses graviga/water bomb only during 1 min (once the charmed person returns to normal). The same thing applies about Frog Chorus except he uses this when low hp and only once.

    just a good hint for everyone here:

    the dragon Boss , have an ES silence order , so he wont use his Song ... then he will be too weak

    I was wondering that too, but I assumed Donni has tested this and knows what he is talking about..

    I mean.. a person wouldnt just come onto this forums and post bullshit theories on shit they havent tested before would they..

    It's been posted before by Arthars as well: silence prevents Dahaks from using Nullsong. I don't know of any tests, but it's not that far fetched--it's a "song", and lots of AU mobs have odd behavior like this.

    Does it have any effects on Voidsong? Or am I mixing up its moves Q.Q.

    Silence on salvage cockatrice being the best "odd" behavior.
