VIT and Defense are pretty broken...I find that the Shield skill build is a better "oh shit" macro than trying to deck yourself out in full VIT and Defense.

Of course you could use Koenig for Rampart now...

In the same vein it's important that mages keep track of PLD MP and only top people off when PLDs can't do it. When both the PLDs and the mages are aware of this, it is a great means of controlling hate in longer fights.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Three tanks (RDMs or PLDs) can pretty much main cure a whole alliance by themselves, especially if you have something like a Gjallarhorn at your disposal...Not saying everybody should run up and stand in Khimaira/Cerberus's face, that would be a little extreme. But for mages and melee running in and out every once in a while, the tanks can take care of that kind of stuff no problem. Also keeps the WHM from using MP and getting hate (Although the WHM might get a little bored eventually).
