This shit sounds too good to be true... This guy is a genius. Not only does the game look and sound like nothing we have seen before, but this guy's development tools are amazing too.

I wish he would release some short clips of it in motion. The screenshots do make great backrounds though lol

I remember reading one of the comments on the article from a friend of the creator's saying he wants nothing to do with any corporations whatsoever. So, with that type of mindset, its all basically about this dude having fun with it. Whether he makes it past the development phase is the question.

Who knows if he will run into any roadblocks that will halt the production, its up-in-the-air since he's the only one working on it. This could either be one the best MMO conceptions created or just another great idea that never made it.

The most realistic path would be something like this:

Develop game for fun
Host friends, family, and people they refer (or online lottery) to get his 200 players (who can double as beta testers)
Fine tune and fix stuff
Play with it for a while
Get bought out by someone who does want to make money and can host more than 200 people
