So, in order to watch HD DVDs on my PC I needed an HDCP compliant monitor, which turns out I didn't have. So I picked up a new one, hooked it all up with DVI like my old monitor and it STILL wouldn't do HDCP(even though the box said "HDCP via DVI"). I had to hook it up analog to get it to work.
How does that make any sense? I'm not very familiar with HDCP other than I know my consoles use it when I hook them up HDMI.
I'd like to have my monitor hooked up digital since it's a bunch sharper but I'm out of luck since I can't seem to get it to work with HDCP. Yes, I'm running the newest drivers for my monitor and video card(Samsung 225BW and MSI Nvidia 6600GT).
