Oh how awesome it would be to play a game that lasted long enough for one side to get to an air unit tech level.
What do you mean by "try to rush me" though? 4 or 6 pool lings? proxy rax / gates? or just standard early game pressure? Because if you aren't applying early game pressure of any sort its not really a normal game. Theres no reason early game pressure should always end it lol. Block your ramp / pull workers / scout efficiently, whatever needs to be done. That being said i hate B.net with a passion.

Its true though, there is no good place to play very low level starcraft games except with friends. Once you understand basics though, you should try out ICCUP ladder (http://www.iccup.com/) for mass gaming needs.

I caught this video of Boxer's Crazy Micro, it's freaking hilarious. It's got some crazy koren song in the background and shows insane Siege Tank/Dropship strats, awesome marines, and surreal vulture play. There's also a clip of this raid of marines + medics with a science vessel that held its irradiate (though some defensive matrices were used), making the zerg player paranoid and using his micro to make sure he didn't give a good irradiate shot, all while marines were raping everything.

I wish there were more team games from pro players, like 2v2s. Those are always entertaining to watch because some of the great combinations you can do.

    Re: Professional Starcraft

Each proleague match (between all the Korean teams) is made up of up to 4 1v1s and 1 2v2. The matches are best of 3, but because the 2v2 is the third game played, they will always be played in each match, so there are actually quite a few 2v2s. 2v2s at the professional level are rarely long games, virtually always have a zerg player (with a specific restriction against having two zerg players), and often hinge on who can get control of a critical position first. The zerg players will always go one base and low drone count and rush to mutalisks after a determined safe amount of lings (much like ZvZ). All of this is a result of super high level competition where it became obvious that this was the dominant strategy. This is pretty clear when a team goes 1 zerg and 1 random and gets two Zerg players and virtually always wins.

So there are a lot of 2v2 games out there, but most are fairly predictable and not as entertaining in my opinion. I say most because sometimes weird things can happen and result in fantastic games, but its not the norm.

I just finished watching nearly all the VoDs, and I have to say, just wow...

Watching Flash crush all these players, especially all the toss players on Katrina as fucking rediculous, you could just see the looks on his opponent's faces as they got stomped by a 15 year old kid lol.
