I feel bad for the kid, but people wanting to donate a 360 to him is a bit over the top for my personal taste, especially if they're too naive to think the family isn't going to hog it and not give it to him (judging by the video they'd probably sell it and buy some other stuff).

When I was a kid, occasionally my family would do this to me too, except instead of new clothes, it'd be my undies and singlets from my underwear drawer all snug inside gift wrap - such great christmas gifts . Where's my free xbox??????????????? I guess i'll go stick my home videos on youtube or something.

This happend a lot two christmas' ago when I was working at gamestop. You don't know how many people that would come in and want to buy a $250 dollar gift card and put it in a Wii box.

My issue is with the people who want to send some kid who looks 10 a 360 >_> If the parents want to give it, that's their deal. I think it would be detrimental but they aren't my kids.

Could that have been cause they were sold out and they were gonna hold on to the gift card until Wii's were in stock? Isn't that what Nintendo did this year cause they were so low on Wii's during the xmas season, sell coupons or vouchers or something?? I vaguely remember even tho it was only a few months ago

Regardless, it's still gay to open up a Wii box christmas morning to find a stupid gift card inside. Don't be a shitty parent and just be honest with the kid. It's like jumping in bed with a hott girl only to find out she's on a nasty period.

And to answer your question, I don't believe Nintendo ever gave out Wii vouchers. These are just people who want to give the card to the kid and make the Wii-hunting his problem.
