dynamis auto-lot upon forced dynamis exit discovery{?}

So in dynamis-loljeuno this morning, I reentered dynamis really late, about 30 mins before glass broke, and there were about 5 things in pool before we got kicked out, 1 goblin lube I had won the lot on, 4 that I didn't pass on, 2 bynes and 2 whiteshells. The whiteshells dropped from a mob, oh 2 seconds before we got booted. Then this happened.

Note the lack of the whiteshells. When I loaded into ru'lude all the whiteshells were in my inventory, even though they weren't said to have gone to me. No pic because I didn't think about it at the time, I traded them to the guy who sponsored.

This has enough evidence to say the last person to enter dynamis gets everything auto-lotted to them, if they don't pass or have at least lotted. Note that no one else saw this log, only I did.

Don't know if anyone knew about this already, everyone I know was surprised when i talked to them about it. This may have a good use where whoever lots currency could simply enter last and always get the last few things, however I do not know if relogging counts as putting yourself last for entry.

Last person in the zone gets all the stuff. I don't publicize it due to the fact it can be abused.

I remember about 3 years ago in Beauc we had a 100 peice in the pool and got kicked out and were trying to find who the last person to enter was and were telling people to check their inventorys to see if they had it and noone fessed up too it. Whoever got it prob. made some decent gil off it ... but it made us keep track of who was the last one in since then.

Yep, I usually have a mule outside as the glass holder for late people, I just bring it in when there is under 3 mins to collect currency.

I always log out and log back in ~2min before glass timer is up, works like a charm and I get everything. Sometimes in Xarcabard I'll have our highest points member do it in case their relic drops. It's highly exploitable and it's not really something that should be publicized if you ask me.

Myself and other leaders of my shell have known about this for a while. I actually got my Koga Chainmail by accident a couple years ago due to this and I think that's when I discovered it, haha.

But yeah, log out > log in works, and now I'll have to watch carefully to make sure no one tries this in my shell since it's out. People still make a big deal out of passing stuff, which shouldn't be stopped. If an AF drops I want it to go to who it's supposed to.

heh, well the problem we have is nobody ever seems to get the last currency drops. either somebody already knew about this and is exploiting it every run or we have a lot of dishonest people ~.~

Neither is likely the case, actually. What happened was everyone was trying to pass at the end to have the coins lot out, including the person who last entered. If you pass and are the last one in, the items get completely lost, they don't move onto the next person. It was mentioned in this thread:

ah yeah i knew that, but i figured they would still get the text of it being lost in their log. nobody ever fesses up which arouses my suspicions!

I've gotten that text before, but rarely, when things get lost. If the server is laggy in kicking them out, they'll get the text before they zone. Usually they won't, though. 90% of the time I won't get obtain text, even when I get 10 coins.

or full inventory. i've also seen sometimes where a full pool just doesn't sort. i think the game just shoves people out in the order they came in, and obviously when you're the only one in the zone with loot in the pool it autosorts. still, that takes some time, and a pool of 10 can't sort that fast, even with 10 open slots. best ways we've come up with is to either drop glasses at the last second (then we know who's at fault and hit them with our ring hands) or if that's not an option b/c of dead or currently engaged mobs, shove a mule in at the 1 min mark. generally works like a charm.

We farm right up to the very last second, always being sure to pull at least 2 mobs (and hopefully a statue) before the 30sec warning comes up and we get kicked. Coins before the 30sec warning are passed by the LS, no problem. Coins after are generally autosorted to myself or some other designated person using this trick. Hasn't failed yet since figuring out how to do it properly (ie things like not passing the coins, but lotting instead, at least giving them a chance to sort normally if everyone passes).

... I never knew about this. Actually, I don't think I wanted to learn it. Suddenly the "omg afk, emergency" people and people lazy and not lot/passing anything under 5min to go make sense. One of them also apparently jacked my glacier AF 2 weeks ago, and I must hunt them down and kill them--since getting it and not confessing is worse than it just being lost.

You'd think this would be something they'd freaking fix, so that stuff would just fall to the highlot when you get kicked. /wrists.

Wait..

So If someone DCs during salvage and comes back, and lets say we kill the boss with 5 seconds left on the clock. The armor will go to the person that reloged, instead of being lost?
