Nomenclature differences, etc.
The point is the flywheel plays no part in clutch mechanics. So no, I didn't forget it, it is extraneous and therefore I ignored it in my explanation.

When I learned to drive a stick I was in California and I had to get on top of a hill to where I lived, from the bottom, boy were those stop lights fun. (up to 35° incline or more on most of the way)
Hah - I learned to drive while living in a village that was all on a steep slope going down to a riverbank... you either figured out how to do a decent hill start pretty fast or spent a lot of time rolling down the hill into other people's cars.
I feel a bit better and more confident driving it. I am still having some problems only sometimes with letting the clutch out to soon but its only when I'm rushing or theres some ass thats in a rush behind me and honks at me. I learned the hand brake trick from my dad and use it a lot now. So far so good just need to get the don't rush the clutch thing down or your gonna kill it rofl.
