One thing this definitely says is that SE is listening to us sometimes. At fanfest someone asked for a dance emote, and the devs asked the crowd if they wanted it, everyone went crazy. And they implemented it in the next update.

the caps look cute, sol cap not so much, but if the "Inviter" gets the night cap and the "Invitee" gets the sol cap i might need to make a new char on my 2nd acct (you can use a gold world pass on a mule from a second acct right?) and get it.

Mixed thoughts about the emperor band. If its better then empress, people are gonna bitch that there are 1000 more gimps in merit parties within a month. Is it really that hard to get to 75? On the other hand, im in the process of lvling pld, and Would enjoy an extra boost once in a while. And if they let you have both in your inventory... Emperor -> Empress.

There is so much face-palm associated with the above comment it almost made my head explode...Anyway, here's to hoping the Emperor Band doesn't blow and somethingsomething AV will be ninja-fix'd to magically restore twohours somethingsomething. (Hey, I can dream can't I!)

Has to be the first character (?) on a completely new account I think. I tried making a mule on another server on my main account a couple years ago with a Gold Pass given to me by someone else, and it didn't work.

Emperor Band is the best part of this info.

it'd be cool to have a band that doesn't have an exp cap, but has a lower time cap at a decent exp bonus percentage. like 25% for an hour, or something...

You know...update news like this (and the last couple ones) should be the icing on the cake after two or three major changes like the job adjustments and Nyzul relic weapons we have been promised. But THIS is major crap we get to look forward to?

I thinking (hoping) that the reason they've been showing all of these little fluff changes and have been so hush-hush on the big stuff is that, well, the big stuff is gonna be BIG. I'm expecting (praying for) some huge changes for the better that, if revealed now, would have people going out of their way to prepare for and would break business as usual until the update came out.

I just noticed, no dancing emotes for Wyverns??? ;; I wanted to dance more with my wyvern thats the only reason I like playing DRG, to sit in Whitegate and spam the current /dance motion so people think my wyvern is back flipping like crazy. :D

Up until this point i think its fair for me to say this is some really lackluster shit but who knows what will show up. I won't get my hopes up high but WOW if there isn't anything big when its all said and done.

I wouldn't freak out just yet. The most pivotal stuff gets released VERY close to update day. If they announce a new avatar too early, there's going to be a huge influx of people leveling SMN etc. etc.

Dare I say I've set my hopes too high.

Update not made of total fail, as we have another exp ring option coming. Mostly fluff, but it adds up y'know?

Oh, and I expect Septimus will have a Galkan dance troupe inside of the week. (And more animations are always fun).

And they -always- save the good stuff for the end. The more fluff updates, the better the ending usually is and it's always stuff that would be job-altering or info easily used to manipulate the game in negative ways.
