edit: I watched the video, and the girl was trying to get off the bus and the driver wasn't letting her, so I don't know. Maybe it's one of the rules you're not allowed to let kids off? *shrug* That girl reminded me way too much of my own twelve year old sister, so I had to turn it off at like four minutes in because it was freaking me out. The driver's daughter had something wrong with her nose though, and some of the comments on the video are great.

It's against the law for a bus driver to let a child off at a stop that isn't their designated stop without a written note by the parent and signed off by the school principal or someone else with that authority.

The bus driver did the right thing, and so did her daughter defending her mom. Any child with half a brain would defend their parent from a stupid bitch.

But I was reading up on this. School bus drivers are not allowed to let kids off the bus with out a parent note approved by the school. The Bus driver did everything right, even called for help before the pushing and shoving started. If anything that 15 year old spoiled bitch should be taken behind the bus and beat with a rubber hose.

I dunno about you, but I would have laughed in the face of someone who told me that I couldn't exit a school facility, as I often did as a student.

It got to the point where the principal actually had the P.E. coach and himself escorting me to Detention at one point, the bell rang, I went out a side door, scrambled over a fence and was gone into the woods faster than they could say "CRAP, HE'S RUNNING!"

Yeah, the Bus Driver could radio back, call the cops, call the parents, whatever when the girl left the Bus, but she can NOT physically restrain the child if she is not about to harm herself or others immediately.

Nevermind the hell to pay when the parents find out this person layed hands on their child without permission. We got rid of Corporal Punishment, a stupid move, but it comes with certain things, including the lack of right for a teacher or other school faculty member to grasp, touch, or restrain a child that isn't attempting to hurt themself or others.

I'm with the kid on this one, yeah, it may be dumb as hell for her to have been on the bus, for her to be a bitchy little twat when she went to exit the bus, and what not...

The Bus Driver should/could have kept the door shut and informed the girl that she could be dropped off at the school or a designated stop unless her parents were contacted and gave permission otherwise, NOT touched her.

I'm a firm believer that children only have legal rights they know to claim, maybe it was just from being a smartass who got his hands on the Bill of Rights/Constitution, but I would have told the Bus driver that she was wrongfully and unlawfully imprisoning me, that I would make note of any physical assaults or contact she made on my person, and walked the fuck off the bus at the first opportunity.

The schoolbus driver was in the right, the kid needed some remedial fist to face that her parents werent giving her. 15year olds are intelligent enough to know when something is crossing the line, you arent 12 years old anymore and can play the 'feigning ignorance' card.

Compounded by the fact that she is a 'girl', the parents would have tried to carve in the usual 'she could have been raped' and 'shes only a girl' if the driver let her off the bus.

Every school bus I've been on has a thing so the driver can open/close/lock the door.

I'm not saying it wouldn't be wrong for the driver to let her off, just less wrong than it was to lay her hands on the kid.

Me, I probably would have just popped the emergency door, but again, I'm a smartass and always have a plan of escape in mind when I enter a building/vehicle/situation.

Im gonna just chalk it up to the lady having an adrenaline rush when the girl started throwing blows... its that feeling that most people have when they get hit intentionally.

Especially when its some punk kid thats already pushed you over the limit in a very stressful job to begin with.

15year olds are getting boob jobs and asstucks, she can get fucked up by an adult for all i care. That girl will probably learn a great lesson about pushing people around in life that her parents just happened to skip over.

I have to say, the driver was perfectly within the law and in the right for the situation. Regardless of how bitchy a student is, according to state laws and insurance policies as well as forms signed at the beginning of the school year stating they had to listen to any school official regardless of where they were at while on school property.

She shoulda sat her ass back down and waited. If she was eighteen, and they were preventing her from leaving campus, that's another story, but she was on a bus. Time to fucking sit back down and wait like the rest of us. Also, the girl needed the bitch slapping she got.

Looks like the first assault came from the driver on the girl when she was reaching to get her phone that the was tossed on the driver's seat. Can't just take a phone and then assault the person you took it from. Yeah the girl was a cunt but the situation could have been dealt with better. Im surprised it took that daughter so long to get up. If i saw anyone giving my mom that much grief I would have said something and if there was any contant i would probably be going to jail.
