good, that motherfucker doesnt even know how to pronounce his own name
I'm a life-long packer fan, and I'm oddly at peace with this.
I'm genuinely eager to see how the team does with Rodgers at the helm - I think in some way I'm happy that he picked now to hang it up.

So his first what was an INT? (i know it resulted in a td -- his first TD?)
I can't find this on youtube for some reason, its pissing me off.Originally Posted by Dezzimal

Edit: the deflection was as a packer

That first pass INT for TD was bullshit anyway, Falcons receivers are butterfingers.
doesn't matter, I win. First pass attempt = interception. Last pass attempt = interception. In between? Nougatty hall of fameness.Originally Posted by archibaldcrane

Gonna be really weird not seeing Favre on the field next season. Sucks to see him this beat up about it.
I haven't heard a player this emotional about ANYTHING, let alone retiring, in a long long time. And I'm listening on the radio at work, I'm sure he looks as bad as he sounds.
His eyes are a bit red from crying and you can tell he's tore up about this decision, but he does feel it's the right thing. It's a great thing to watch though. It's nice to see a player put his emotions out there on the line for his fans.Originally Posted by Cephius

only guys dick id suck,
maybe
yea
; ; i was just starting to really get into the packers too ; ; been a bronco forever :/
lol, reminds me of the time I cryed when I broke my collar bone and had to tell the team I was out for the season. I felt like I was letting the team down being hurt.Originally Posted by Akiyama

I'm just glad he got to bow out on top and not end up like Patrick Ewing, Jerry Rice, Joe Montana, and the like... At least he got to leave on his own terms.
