No, that's fine. Actually I know of this one 75 Rdm/Whm meleeing in Errant and NQ Macauhuitl... So that Rdm could have done a lot worse. Maybe I need to direct him here. And yes, you read the above right, meleeing in Errant.

So a couple days after I mention the importance of an Enhancing swap, the version update "adjusts" the accuracy of En-element spells. I can't play yet, so report experiences on high level/resistant mobs if you've had a chance to test prz. :]

I think that was specifically for the AoE casting of En-spells that Scholar can do.

When receiving weapon-enhancing spell effects from other party members, the additional damage caused will depend on the caster’s enhancing magic skill. Magic accuracy for these spells has also been adjusted.
This is the part that stood out--I think the note is referring to two separate adjustments unless it's just translated strangely.

Maybe I'll go pester some VT mob if I have time after the new quests. If it's a substantial increase, then maybe the phrase "RDM meleeing a Greater Colibri" will provoke an ever-so-slightly lesser degree of disdain in threads like this one. :3

I still think that was because of the enhancing skill thing. I remember a long time ago a SMN used rolling thunder while messing around. I was getting normal en-spell damage, but everyone else had low damage and resists.

Then again, I have trouble believing that Square would do anything to benefit RDMs. >_>

    Re: (lol)melee RDM gear setup.

Which gorget is for Evisceration? Soil, light, and dark all say they affect it on wiki, which one is the best choice? Or does it not matter which?

This is also not to open an argument vs. PCharm or Love Torque, just want an answer to the above.

    Thanks,
    Red

Sea gorgets are not very good for multi-hit weaponskills. Sorry, but Chram or Love Torque (mostly Chram) will do better.

Sorry but, whoooosh. Did you even read what I said? I'm well aware that P. Charm (why do you all call it Chram? ..) would outperform the gorget - (As of recent testing. People need to test the Gorgets further last I read, because they didn't have a big enough sample size... )

Thought I would point out the Volunteer's Brais as another option for legs, as opposed to the Pahluwan legs. MP is nice, right?

More intense melee RDM findings later!

Sorry but, whoooosh. If you don't know why it's called chram you should lurk more. If you're aware of the better option why are you asking which inferior option you should use?

Thought I would poit out the Nashira Seraweels as the best option for legs that I mentioned earlier as opposed to shitty Volunteer's Brais. Enfeebling skill is nice, right?

I don't have time to "lurk more" as you say, as spending all day on an internet forum is enough to drive anyone mad. So, I'll pose this question again to the topic: Why do people keep calling it a Chram?

Second, I didn't know that 2 haste, 5 enfeebling skill and 3 magic accuracy had any impact on a 5 hit weapon skill. Great work Sherlock! (albeit nice for TP setup with enough acc. elsewhere.)

Do me a favor, and instead of being a wise ass, how about contributing to the thread by answering my questions? Too much to ask?

    Red

P.S. I want to know which gorget so I can contribute to the accuracy testing that is currently going on. Now, for the 2nd time (hmm..) which gorget goes for Evisceration? Anyone?

    Thanks BG.

    Re: (lol)melee RDM gear setup.

Evisceration contains Gravitation & Transfixion properties, so you'd be looking for a Soil Gorget, a Shadow Gorget, or a Light Gorget.

So there is no difference between any, other than one might have more use to me based on what other WSs i use and my inventory+1 complex.

    Thank you.
