Was fun and surprising some of those matches

Although, I may have to agree with Kobby (or whoever it was that said it), Diddy Kong does seem to take the fun out of it and make it more like work to practice against (nothing wrong with it really, just saying) like ZSS who use their armor as weapons.
Edit: That and Jarr constantly camps as Diddy Kong. I stood still for a moment to see what'd he do and he sat the edge waiting the entire time until I came... Today, I saw his comment that says some guy's name I've never heard of was a spammer...

Wario and MK do not have an item that can stun the way those banana peels do.

Glad your connection was a bit better Atma, those were nice matches. The slight lag bothered me in terms of trying to dash but it didn't let me (including tilts) but was overall much better than previously XD

My internet didn't get better, rather, I just leeched off of a mysterious wireless signal that I used to use before I got the lan adaptor. The lan adaptor should be about a hundred times better (It normally doesn't have any lag spots like the ones we had), but it isn't, and it still isn't. I guess I'll call and complain tomorrow.

But damn dude, your Ganon is evil lol. Easily the best I played, you managed to overcome his biggest weakness that I deal with when I play as him, being too predictable with Wizard Foot and Gerudo Dragon as approaches. My Ganon could learn a lot watching yours.

No, but what Wario and MK have are arguably much better. Wario has amazing air game, amazing aerials, a super-armor fsmash that can hit behind him, an AMAZING recovery, a great 1shotter past 80% every min for most characters (fart), moderate priority, and mid weight (I think?). MK... do I even need to explain? His Tornado stuns, if you get caught in it, and does considerable damage. It's an absolute uphill battle to fight either of these on Diddy, so yeah <_<

edit: I understand completely why you'd dislike Diddy though, and don't get me wrong that I sympathize your problems against him. That's why I usually play Ike, because he's a challenge to use against most of your characters and the end result is much more fulfilling. ;o He's at a disadvantage for all your characters except Ganondorf (because they both have no advantages lol D: )

I appericate the thought but it won't help me get better against Diddy Kong in the end if it is mostly Ike (which isn't that bad because I still need to figure more ways around Aether; hence my retarded SDs testing ways around it on you and Ryko). Seeing both often is good way to practice. After the matches with Atma's Link, starting to think I need to face that character a bit more as well.

Haha thanks XD It is mostly tactics from Sliq (best Ganondorf player I have seen) that I put with my own. You should check out his matches on youtube (and smashboards) to get better videos of him in action. Theres one incredible video of him nearly losing to a chain grabbing Falco player.

I sadly make some mistakes with Wizard Foot still thinking the end animation has a hitbox but it ends before that ;; Sliq said Ganondorf online is impossible but I think it may make be better overall offline later on which I haven't been able to do since Summer started.

So that's where you got all that shit from >_> lol, that guy is actually really good, I could learn a lot by watching him just like you did. He's a shining example of what can be done with a "bad" character if you get good enough.

On the whole Diddy thing -- when Diddy is holding a bannana, it feels like you have to be on the constant defensive. Because Diddy the ultimate counter in his hands if you try to rush him, attacking isn't really an option unless you predict perfectly when he's going to throw it. And that's the only way to get around it safely; if you get hit by hit, and you don't know exactly how Diddy will follow up and how to counter it, you're gonna get juggled. And being able to produce your own bannanas means you can be doing that the entire time, and it's just not very fun. That's how I feel, anyway.

On the whole camping thing, in Brawl it's generally always better for any character for your opponent to come to you rather than to go to him. A simple sidestep the approach attack by your opponent and then counter attack is an effective way to deal damage while avoiding it yourself, and it can usually be effective, so there's no reason not to do it. Camping is boring and makes me feel cheap, even if it would be advantages for me to do so, but I don't. But then, winning isn't very important to me, I mostly just have fun playing the game.

Before I started playing against you all I tried to pick up Diddy but ultimately gave up on him. I've always been more of a "mage" type of person (coming off of FFXI where I was a BLM/BRD/SMN/WHM) so Lucas comes naturally as my main. Kirby and Rob are the exception though I do admit I love Rob's laser too much sometimes D:

Those were some fun matches in the FFA. Sadly, most of the time I was on the phone until the last few but I can multitask rather well so it felt like instinct.

Very long continous matches there Thul, gave my Ganondorf a good workout (and me being beaten) but still lacks something... So use to Ness's down throw which I kept mistakenly using on Lucario instead of forward throw. Combos such a pain gehh but getting there slowly...
