teams, now
teams, now
I'll be home in a half hour.
Is that why you're not answering on AIM or?
Yeah
Enough arguing, teams in like 10mins!
Well, Gen convinced me to go on but can't stay too long just took some medicine which may kick in later.
Is it Gen and me or Kashi and Gen (who were practicing teams previously) ?
I'm around.
kobb you need to aim/msn harder srsly
Heading to bed, university tomorrow and medicine was kicking in a while back so feeling a bit dizzy headed. Didn't get sleep last night either from sickness so need to make up what I can even though it is a bit late...
GGs though, was interesting to fight two Snakes and then later see you two use something else besides him for once in a long time =p
I meant to say Gg's not "Really?" Genob/c you did something awesome in the previous fight
what did I do
honestly sometimes I've found myself doing things I don't even really plan, they work, and I can never replicate them again because I can't even recall the situation for it
Honestly I'm not the biggest fan of Brawl's online because I've yet to 100% adjust to the button lag so I don't space properly to the point where I stop caring. That's the reason why I rarely pick G&W online anymore who is my best character because spacing is so crucial with him and I want to be able to control my actions 100% not only 80% of the time. A good example of that is when I D-Air off the stage and SD when offline I would've survived because the fact that I failed to slow down the fall is unlikely to happen. I come online because I have no one to play with on the weekends and I need something to pass the time when I'm not working.
The only reason I turtle in FFAs because everytime I turn around, if Meian is in the game, I'm being sandwiched by you and someone else to the point where I'm losing a stock really early so now I sit by the ledge and throw shit because just MAYBE I'm trying to make one of you come for me. I won't deny I do some dumb shit sometimes but I was under the assumption that anyone who plays Brawl competitively rarely take FFAs seriously anyway. The fact that I picked Yoshi, whom I do NOT know how to use and whom you guys have never seen me use at all should've been a testament to that and for you to get worked up about that just gives me some insight into your personality. I don't say anything because I don't let it bother me but I'll be sitting there playing with my g/f watching and both of us will be laughing when I call out when you're about to go for me in a FFA and most of the time I'm right but you don't hear me bitching and carrying on in the boards because I'm above that. I wouldn't even mention it if it wasn't for the fact that it was mentioned by someone else on these boards too. This is my point of view as far as this is concerned. Maybe it's a regional thing.
The only person who's connection has been nearly damn immaculate has been with Kashi and I'd say he's the only person in this online community who's seen my potential as far as online is concerned I may not beat him a lot but I definitely come out a better player playing with Kashi.
I have a vent server that we can use and I meant to bring it up earlier but I need to get myself a headset. I've never got a complaint from anyone playing with me IRL so I'd imagine hearing what I sound like when I play might make things more comfortable for people. Otherwise my MSN and AIM is readily available to anyone on these boards. That's all I have to say as far as that's concerned.
Aww yeah vent server.
Fuck yeah Vent server AoE, we need that shit!<33333333333333333you
Also, not jock-riding AoE, but he's fairly good at gimping. I commend him for being so dedicated on his off-stage game when he SDs a lot online (mainly on Wolf).
As Ryko knew from the past I use to go off stage a lot against his Ike (major mistake). Now I am too paranoid most of the time unless I am a stock ahead and high % (usually safer to risk gimp/damage PK Thunder or if lucky into PK2).
Wish I could have off-stage game like NinjaLink...
Oh, although I rather keep it in PM now just wanted to say that the "regional" thing for the other guy, he lives furthest from me than all of you so heh =x could say... you are all "sandwiched" between us =x
NL's offstage is pretty much determined by the char he plays and his opponent. He'll go offstage against my snake a lot as wario but he doesn't bother doing it against my Ike because after like the third game he just got sick of getting spiked. His marth goes off a lot, his diddy not so much, and his ike is very ledge oriented for all his offstage stuff.
Man, what the hell did I miss yesterday
And yeah NL is really unique in that he has a totally different playstyle for almost every character in the game, and to a degree a different one for a lot of the top players in his region too
Probably the most unpredictable player I've ever seen
