Ok, I added you. I'll set up a room while I wait for you to finish.
Do you want items on or off?
Can I jump in on any games?
You have some really bad lag Oxy![]()
Bad connection or are you quitting?
2nd match I got rid of because of items, 3rd match was New Pork City so I quit, and I wasn't thrilled about Pokemon Stadium 2 but did it anyway lol.
I just random stage and play on whatever usually with just smash balls on so we probably shouldnt play together if you're gonna quit every other match cause you dont like the stage. Sorry.
Yeah, I don't like playing with items, and only like Battlefield/Smashville/Lylat Cruise/Yoshi's Island/Final Destination/Pokemon Stadium 1/Frigate Orpheon/Halberd for stages.

No items
Fox only
FINAL DESTINATION
Minus Fox only and Final Destination only.
FD is terrible in this game because characters can get stuck under the stage. It's Melee Battlefield syndrome.
Missing the point
There is no point to that phrase, sorry. Just because I prefer not to play with items on bad stages doesn't mean I don't have fun with the game, nor do I scrutinize people that play with items on those kind of stages. I don't care what other people prefer to play with, but I don't like playing under those settings.
No Pictochat? I love that stage, I think it's a perfect balance. The most dangerous hazards would be the missiles and the spikes I believe? They are easy to avoid. Not sure how much damage that cart does in comparison though.
You're saying a stage is bad because it doesn't enhance your playstyle (unadaptive combo execution I'm guessing), right?Originally Posted by Zetah
Items turn out more annoying than anything else most of the time. Especially things like Assist Trophies and Pokemon where you can't even know how to use them effectively taking any resemblance of skill from using them. I don't really mind as long as there isn't too many items(which turns it from an item tossing game, not smashing each other), but I can sympathize. A lot of people, including myself, want to get better at the game and test how good they are now. Items are never the answer to that.
Also none of my friendroster is online, god damn. Don't make me play the Ike infested with anyone.
EDIT: Last few With Anyone match there was a Link who hardly knew how to play. The previous match he died over 5 times because he didn't know how to jump on the eldin bridge stage. The following match it was Pictochat and he had randomly thrown a spike ball/qill whatever they are with barely knowing how to use it. Other than that, all he did was spam Up B and Up and front smash. On the other hand, a metaknight, kirby(me), and sonic were having a rather intense battle. Out of nowhere spikes nailed us as we on the upper left part of the stage(not a big deal really), but it sent us all to the spike ball and KO'd each of us. The Link won. Using nothing but three moves and not knowing how to jump.
I have no idea how you got that from what he said.Originally Posted by Maxxthepenguin
In other news, Snake's Usmash might be the most fun thing in this game.
