Even if your connection is good 1v1 with someone in asia will be pretty laggy. I played with a TW friend 1v1 (on my good connection at home < <) and it was pretty bad. While it could have been his connection that was bad I think if its just too far like that the lag will be bad. This is just from one personal experience though if anyone has other infos let me know that way i'll try to play with more TW people in a month or two ;3

Most people I played from the US lagged like hell. Though it was still fun and my connection isn't bad at all (can play with people from UK no problem). Perhaps the issue will be sorted out when Nintendo fully release the game world wide, but I honestly think that international play is bound to be bad no matter what happens.

I didn't know my rules were always chosen, I thought everyone else was doing the timed too, oh well. Thanks for playing with me guys, I was totally trying out these wacked out controller setups. I got used to the SP one kind of by the end. I think it needs tweaking to feel more comfortable though.
