Guessing that was why he added the cough or something? D:
I don't spam Pit's arrows too much. If you notice, I only shot maybe.. 5-10 the entire match that you, Metah, and me played when I was Pit once. If I'm playing another projectile user though, yeah.. I'll spam a bit to match them. It's only fair.
Yeah, Aki's not a projectile spammer.
Why thank ya!Originally Posted by Metah
I admit, sometimes I will spam, but like I said; only when someone else does it first. I do know it's annoying as hell having to deal with, but I guess it's all apart of someone's strategy.
I'm going to need to replace this nunchuck set up as its really shitty for this game. Gamecube vs Classic?
GCN of course.
If you're going into both of them semi fresh then classic will be better worth your time. Frustrating as shit at first but it's more responsive and the shoulder buttons wont drive you up the wall. I set my right shoulder button recently to jump for faster short hop aerials but I need to take the time out to recondition myself to use L to air dodge (for some reason I block with L but air dodge with R)
I honestly can't play with the GCN controller anymore. Too accustomed to the wiimote and nunchuk anymore.
I do have a GCN controller...
with two broken shoulder buttons and a busted z button that gets stuck when you push it. Friend gave it to me a year ago for free.
One of my nunchucks is somewhat fucked up, though sometimes it works great, other times not so much(the best is during online play). The worse was in the middle of doing classic mode where I lost the ability to push down(couldn't crouch, use down B, or down smash/tilt). Had to unplug it and put it back in, twice. God damn.
I don't really care about GCN's shoulder buttons, but if Classic is better...
Really, anything would be nicer than nunchuck set up. That controller needs another button or three. I could try waggle to smash, but...
the waggle smashes didn't work as well as I thought they would. Would always do an up smash when I tried left or right. I don't have a problem doing smashes manually, but probably because I never really used the c-stick before.
Aerials and smashes are a real pain in the ass online. It's impossible for me to get a hit in after kirby's throws because it's really hard to DI and do the right attack at the same time. Dodging rolling and down-smashing(with Bowser) right after is also a pain.
Someone play me. I got a friend over who wants to play online. :D
Sorry to run AoE, interview in th morning.
Fun as always, especially Ness vs. Lucas![]()
Np I was gonna leave soon anyway.Originally Posted by Kobb

Hlep needs opponents.
Anyone want to play?
I'm up for some games if you're still around Crizto or anyone else.
I'm noticing a lot of people with Dedede, Peach, etc don't play with items totally off. The whole "None-Very High" thing is only how frequent they appear in the sky. Not turning off the items directly is simply that, not turning off the items.
It does lead to funny situations(last night with the game with Thul was very funny for example, I hope you guys caught my "..." taunt at the very end), but don't half ass it if we are going to play with no items.
Anyway, I need a match.
Peach can pluck bob-ombs, mr. saturns and beam swords even with items off, it's always been that way. Dedede can only do it with items on, though, and I believe they replace gordos when they do pop up.Originally Posted by BRP
